QUOTE(blackamikaze @ Oct 6 2006, 06:56 PM) Why non-SSL proxy or TOR works? Both these works by carrying the unencryted BT data through TM NET line to the peers. I was wondering, if they were doing shaping, wouldn't they detect this "tunneled" data as well? How does TM Net shape our data then? I dont think they are doing "DPI". Any ideas? |

If you guys are using VPN or proxy, isnt it defeating the purpose of the nutz limiting international bandwidth.
Either way, you are still utilizing the int'l bandwidth right? |

QUOTE(raist86 @ Dec 2 2006, 05:42 PM) hmm. it's against the law.. they'll sue you for libel, bla bla bla. Well you can use signs in place of the alphabets and use that argument in court and turn the suit around an sue them for false advertising, libel and who knows what else. *out of topic*anyway, trying out a vpn.. if it really works, i dun mind putting some money aside everyone for vpn service, rather than sit around with 5kb/s downloads. If is it Screamyx or TMnut, probably they cant do a thing with it. Both are not registered Trademark. |

QUOTE(virtual @ Dec 8 2006, 04:31 PM) Tuotu can get good speed because it can download/upload using UDP. However, not all clients support UDP yet or going to. If you download torrent file where all of seeders/peers are using client which does not support UDP, then tuotu can only use TCP. In that case, the speed will be just the same as you're using utorrent which doesn't support UDP. Azurues download through UDP.QUOTE(jienster @ Dec 8 2006, 09:11 AM) i signed up for 1mbit package but my modem's readinn 512k onli. i called up tmnet, and they say they can onli do something after 14 days or something. coz some guy came to install it.
