Strictly speaking, this may or may not be part of the Canal City. The Canal City seems to be larger than TA+ES+BR and given the Gamuda land (2km away from Kota Kemuning) close distance to Tropicana Aman land, just loosely grouped it together.

Based on the following pic taken from a blogger, the red dot is claimed to be the Gamuda piece of land.

Found out the old news below - Gamuda Land (if based on the red dot in the pic above) does not seem to be part of Canal City.

Hmm... That's ThugaMalay Estate... Not sure still consider Canal city or not.. Distance wise about similar to Bandar Saujana Putra..

The developer (IJM Land) of BR definately would have taken this into consideration. Bear in mind IJM was initially involved in this Canal City project wink.gif

Planning to secure a unit if developer open de sales to public. Now doing some budgeting. Anyone can advise.

Commercial lots are limited in both townships because developers prefer to launch more residential for building up population first. So we have to close contact with sales assistants for any latest commercial development.

I am very pleased to be your introducer or reference . Pleases pm me for further advise and clarifications.

SEH shop lots all finished already. You need to wait for the planned concept of setia walk there.

EM also launched some shop lots (it shld be called as ivoris). All also finished but there shld be more in the future since there are a huge land allocated for commercial (silver square).

You have to keep following abt the news of future launch wink.gif

Hehe... both commerial of SEH (Ecohill Taipan, 3-storey x 54 units + 4-storey × 2 corner units) and EM (Ivoris, 2-storey × 102 units) were sold like hot cakes. For SEH, the next commercial will be located at the commercial plot next to balai polis. As for EM, the next commercial may not be at Silver Square but probably at around the school area coming from East Gate. brows.gif

Hehe... EM has actually taken a bold step in launching the Ivoris earlier than many other developers would normally do in a township dev, ie to get the residential units vp first. brows.gif

Very true but probably the success of P1 launching makes them changed their plan to launch it earlier. Also, they are damn confidence about this project. Seeing success from SEH also will further boost their confidence as well smile.gif

Btw, merrydale is selling pace is slower now right?

Agreed and I believe also the reason they launched the commercial much earlier than (most people) expected is because the commercial there would be supported by the demand from SEH (as Ecohill Taipan will be ready much later) and the surrounding areas, besides Cradleton and Tenderfields. Further what I understand is EM will try to complement SEH, ie whatever not offered by SEH will be considered to be put into the plan of EM.

Yup, the current sentiment is not as strong as the time Cradleton was launched.

True and both townships will really depends on each other's.
Price also higher hence selling will be slower too... Same like SEH slowly selling the terrace homes. Like many taikoh said, the opening of the new link will boost the sales. Tenby also coming next year...
