My front teeth definitely painful when try to bite things (my braces are 11 days old only)

Donno mine when they tighten not pain but i will experience pain some where middle of the month at different teeth. Donno is this normal?

Definitely is painful when it is so new to you.
U have upper and lower at the same time?

Try to have bananas, orange juice, take porridge....

Yes upper and lower, infact the 4 premolars (2 up 2 down) also extracted in a week interval before the braces fixed.

So really difficult to eat with the four gaps with wire suspended in between like penang bridge.


lunch time really difficult to get soft food i.e porridge for a working person.

my experience - almost 1 whole week, milo + bread, but I am lucky cos my pains subsided after the 5th day

1. Can't eat chewing gum for 2 years
2. So hard to eat vege/meat. Will automatically stuck at your braces/teeth

no 2 is ok for me.. just i cant bite hard things like apple. need to cut in a small pieces

Hallo, going to brace mine too...asked doctor at my hometown (somewher near klang), for upper brace only = 3k sad.gif

do u guys have any good doctor w/ reasonable $$ to intro? biggrin.gif

Less than 3 months to pull both of my upper canine backward.

But relatively longer for below set of teeth to be pull backward.

I am going to 5th months now, and still there is a big gap... could be taking more than 1/2 a year
