hi there....anyone know how the colour quality of the HG 1/144 owashi akatsuki??(since there is no any MG for this kits). ...is it really gold in colour like the MG 1/100 Hyaku shiki or just plain yellow??pls help...thx ya....

I remember there is one shop at level one or two,quite good one,they sell original only. I think near Jusco and the escalator in south/north court. Sorry I forgot south or north already.

The Akatsuki's gold plating is a bit dark, compared to the MG Hyaku or the 1/100 Amatu. In fact, I prefer a lighter plating. Akatsuki's darker tone makes it look really "cheap". Again, refer to dalong.net for pictures

Hi, I have a silly question, will the die cast part included in some MG like Nu Gundam get corrode with rust?

errr...never heard of that situation....mg nu diecast part is coated with 1 layer of black paint if not mistaken....

I got an even more stupid question...what is die cast?

I always wonder why the MG Nu has die cast where as it is rare or even unheard on other MG kit.

the die cast parts are part of the ankle to provide balance so the kit won't fall over when u pasang the funnels on its back. that's what the tauke told me

the diecast on nu gundam act as the "weight balance" stuff ler....

coz the rear funnel....too heavy...if they didnt add metal stuff to the leg part...it wont stand still....

the old 1/100 nu gundam diecast part even more larger.....

Looks like Bandai is going to increase the price of its new MG line
MG Strike IWSP is selling at 4.2k while MG Aile Strike sell at 3.8k
The price of IWSP ver. is slightly more expensive
since it has replaced the launching pad to a normal display stand
MG GM Sniper sell at 3.5k (same with Crossbone)
and the MG Strike Freedom sell at 4.8k somemore
