I read online that iOS 8.1.2 has :
"Adds an option to select between 2G, 3G or LTE networks for cellular data" But my iphone 6 has only options to toggle cellular data & LTE... How do i make the phone to only select 2G/3G network? |

QUOTE(v1n0d @ Jan 6 2015, 11:12 AM) Why don't you use Swiftkey instead? "Flow" is pretty much an improved version of Swype. The prediction is a lot better too. I have Swiftkey on my Note 3 as well but I don't use it be ain't doesn't have Chinese. I'm using it a lot because chatting with my China friends. Even Swype's predictions for both English and Chinese are very good already. |

QUOTE(fcchung @ Jan 6 2015, 10:03 PM) Ouch! Similar case with me. Kena rejected claim bcoz found double sided tape inside. Complain to Apple kao Kao. Ask to escalate to senior technician. They will replace with refurbished unit but with more restrict quality control. Then file official feedback to Apple.com with ur report number. Seems like Apple qc really getting sucky due to high demand. Don't bother quarrel with local service provider. They are useless. Apple has final say. That is why I prefer buy direct Apple online. Seeing more and more of such case where local reseller reject claim. |

They will replace with refurbished unit but with more restrict quality control. I'm leaning towards buying i6+ from Apple online store as I did for the i5 and i5s. The buying process is very familiar to me and I'm comfortable with the level of service Apple gives. Will wait for the red sale. Then file official feedback to Apple.com with ur report number. Seeing more and more of such case where local reseller reject claim. On the other hand, buying from Maxis (or other telcos) will allow 0% EPP without any hidden fees and at a subsidized price. This is also attractive to me. But my usage is quite low on the data plan (mostly using wifi) and calls. Hard to decide. |

However, most telco running out of stock since day 1 iPhone 6/6plus released at Malaysia. And your warranty claim (which I hope don't happen to us) need to go through them. And you have to wait a long time for them to solve it for you. But if price is no issue for you and you already have the current phone plan you're satisfied with, get from apple online is the best option. On the other hand, buying from Maxis (or other telcos) will allow 0% EPP without any hidden fees and at a subsidized price. Hi silencer5089. How are you? as for usage which telco are you with? I was using Hotlink, then switched to Surfmore50 for about 2 years, then recently switched back to Hotlink. I found my usage pattern changed since I use wifi most of the time (surfing, chatting, etc). I didn't want to pay Maxis more $$ on principal. |

Yes. This feature is network dependant. The only telco that provides this feature which works on the iphone is U Mobile. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Jan 7 2015, 12:12 PM |
