QUOTE(v1n0d @ Jan 6 2015, 11:12 AM) It actually leads back to a power management issue from Linux which up to now remains unresolved. The latest kernel version has improved power management, but it still lags behind the likes of Apple and Microsoft on the desktop. On Android however, I've heard that the memory leak issue has been resolved for Kit Kat, so it doesn't suffer as much as Jelly Bean. I'm not sure if KitKat resolves memory leak but it certainly didn't solve power management issues. I once felt my Note 3 burning in my pocket in standby mode, and the battery dropped from 80% or so to half of that in less an hour. Restarting the phone didn't help, luckily the battery was removable. So I pulled it out and then after a while it was back to normal. Not sure if that is an Android issue, or a Samsung issue. |

QUOTE(weretiger @ Jan 6 2015, 01:42 PM) Macam ini manyak cepat keh? The phone has a regulator or resistor to regulate amount of charge going in. But Im not going to say whether charging it fast using a USB 3.0 port will damage the battery or the motherboard. We have people who use their ipad chargers to charge their iphones and claims its ok. Whatever it is, Apple recommend using its original charger for charging only.USB 3.0 port with the lighting symbol will it spoil battery? [attachmentid=4289105] QUOTE(winkiedilwy @ Jan 6 2015, 02:02 PM) I don't think its worth OCD about charging the battery. If the battery runs out, just charge. Just don't charge overnight. +1 If you want to charge slow, use PC's USB port. If want to charge normally, use supplied wall adaptor. If want to charge fast, use iPad's charger. No matter what you do, the battery will disintegrate anyway. So just charge it when you need. Usually the battery will not last the period the phone stays in possesion as a new model will already be out by then. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Jan 6 2015, 06:10 PM |

Kinda looks like it's a refurbished phone. If you buy online, next time straight complain to Apple Malaysia. |
