QUOTE(dopamine @ Dec 20 2014, 05:21 PM) For wifi download apps, load webpages and play YouTube video, do anyone feel that iPhone is slighty slower on iPhone than android all the time? It very much depends on your network connection. There was some initial hiccups with Ios 8 when whatsapp and youtube was slow to load intially but the latest update has already addressed this issue. This is based on my past experience of owning both iPhone & android phone. Previously owned iPhone 3GS, 4, 4s, 5 & current 6+. Previously android user for htc desire hd, Samsung s2, s3, note 3, & htc one. |

QUOTE(trade99 @ Dec 20 2014, 09:25 PM) guys... for a not hardcore take picture or video, is it iphone 6+ 16gb enough for use ? Like mentioned, 16gb is good enough for light users.or need to take 64gb ? QUOTE(trade99 @ Dec 20 2014, 09:35 PM) A lot of people used up a lot of space because they keep every picture they take or received through sosial messaging apps. |

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Dec 22 2014, 11:36 PM) Nope, I always close my apps. If you compare a stock 6 and 6+, you will get what I mean. The 6+ is indeed slower by a small notch. That is correct. I have both the 6 and 6 Plus and I can vouch that the 6 has better fluidity compared to the plus but the difference is not that big.QUOTE(ccy1989 @ Dec 23 2014, 11:11 AM) Dont forget it is the 2GB ram versus 1GB ram which makes the difference. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Dec 23 2014, 12:37 PM |

QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Dec 24 2014, 09:55 AM) Received my phone last night and got really mad about it. Looks bad. Like the display is chipped or something. You have 48 hours from the day you receive the unit to make an official complant and get it replaced one to one. That is if it is a Apple My online store set.Manufacturing defect. Should I return the phone as it's a long process... This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Dec 24 2014, 10:29 AM |

QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Dec 24 2014, 11:43 AM) Just a slight chipped mark. I'm still thinking whether i should send it back as I've got no idea how long the process would take and I'm heading back to UK real soon You have to call Apple Care. They will send the courier service to pick up your phone (give them the complete set) and they will dispatch another new set to you. |

QUOTE(celdric @ Dec 24 2014, 05:13 PM) But I remember the poll last time was 50-50 for 6 and 6 plus. I believe there are still many ppl who would like to get an iPhone struggle between these two. haha Hard to decide between 6 and 6 plus? Simple, get both like I did. No regrets. QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Dec 24 2014, 06:56 PM) Well at least u have an iphone to use until tuesday. You will be given a brand new unit. Not so bad. |

QUOTE(celdric @ Dec 25 2014, 09:51 AM) Ya I agreed with TOMEI, many reviews also stated there is not much difference between 6 and 6+ camera. The real difference is the screen estate and battery life. Seriously hope the sluggishness in 6+ will be solved soon. Seriously, I dont find any issues now with the fluidity of the 6+ now with the latest 8.1.2 update. When IOS 8 came out, I agree there was such problems but it seems to have much improved now. For those thinking of buying the 6+, have no qualms and trust me on this. |

I think only those who have used both or own both can really tell whether the Iphone 6+ is much more sluggish than the 6.

QUOTE(666devil @ Dec 25 2014, 10:46 PM) Seriously guys. Comparing min sluggishness that u might only notice if actively hunting for it, vs 1.8x battery life and full hd real estate? The first can be minimized by closing background apps when not using, while bigger eye friendly full had screen and longer battery cannot be resolved without help of external hardware. If u have not used Samsung b with all its bloat ware b4, u dunno what sluggish really means. I know coz I upgraded from s4. Go figure... QUOTE(Pyjamas999 @ Dec 25 2014, 11:23 PM) Cant compare the s4 and iphone 6 as they are from different worlds. However I dont find the s4 as sluggish as you said. I did experience sluggishness with the s4 but that was due to a bad restore from another previous phone. |

QUOTE(Seng_Kiat @ Dec 27 2014, 12:32 PM) out of suddent, my battery of iphone 6 become too bad ... I never install anything, I am using ios 8.1.2 but it was fine a week ago .. this week starting to drain very fast. First suspect would be location services. Is the little arrow on your status bar on top on for no apparent reason?any idea? QUOTE(Gorgoroth @ Dec 27 2014, 01:13 PM) I'm not quite sure if this is the right channel but I'm experiencing some difficulties with setting up my iPhone. How can your fiancee key in the wrong id which is not his to activate the phone in the first place?Fiance gave me his iPhone without deleting his iCloud by resetting the phone. Another issue - he keyed in wrong id - different from his registered id. How can I fix this? Many thanks in advance! Second, without a proper password to the apple id on the phone, you cant deactivate/reset the phone now. Are you sure its not a stolen/loss phone that is in your hands now? |

QUOTE(KingMinister @ Dec 27 2014, 05:45 PM) Hey guys after reading through several pages of this thread, I am starting to actually think of getting a 6 instead of 6+ but my main concern is the battery life, reviews say that the battery isn't that good but still acceptable so may I know how well is it and can it last me for a day? (mobile data/wifi on, texting, messaging, social networks, maybe some games and music) I won't be watching a lot of videos on my phone though. Thanks! I can say it would be sufficient for one day usage for normal browing, fbing, whatsapping etc. The battery life is much better than the 5s so you can be sure it will be good enough for one day usage. |
