You do care about phone resale value? Like seriously?

I know a few phone user (I myself included) are changing phone every time one flagship out in market, so no doubt Apple resale value is much higher than Android's.

i'll add on to the complain list

1. going to settings must go home screen or a particular screen, not immediately accessible
2. control centre cannot mod (i want to off on location also cannot)
3. why is location services under privacy? why not under wifi / bluetooth / cellular (senseless)
4. why touch id and passcode not under privacy? >.<
5. why no torrent apps allowed? is torrent a banned technology as dictated by apple?
6. when in full screen, notification is so intrusive. cannot be smart a bit and don't have the whole damn banner coming down to block game controls?
7. for those that say no problem with apple apps because curated what nonsense, kuwo with all permissions removed etc etc (fresh install), can still run in the background consuming "usage" time
*
True and actually i am fine with iOS just some simple task need a few more step to do it thats the annoying part.

Anyone here mentioned iOS is perfect? I will give them a good spanking if they do. I am from Galaxy 3 and 4 user. Here is my take:
1) Command center so much room for improvement. I miss toggling off my location when not in used. Then again, I never toggle off anymore bcoz iOS obeys their own settings, unlike android leak battery here leak data there. Always have to go app and data manager to disable.
2) camera is the best and fastest focus I have used. Really point and shoot. Good riddance with S4 camera, regardless of its 16MP. Cannot focus properly, what's the point?
3) battery in 6+ is God send. No more leaks.
4) the share links to other apps feature sucks!!!missed android's sharing here.
5) replaceable battery and sdcard is no longer relevant. Sammy took both away in s6
7) love the global updates released! Android? Unless u using nexus, wait until 6 months also no news. U r lucky if manufacture company still decide to update os after 1 yrs.
8) greater and cheaper , higher quality apps in App Store! Together with family sharing, I am now even buying albums to share with family members.
9) very minimal configuration compared to android. But it's a good point for me. Less headache to support for corporate company. If don't like, just JB.
10) lag? Don't feel it anymore after 8.1.3. In 8.1.2 still lag. Sammy in the other hand so full of bloat wares that leak processing cycle that it lags.
11) notification? Just select the banner where it will only pop up as a status bar on top screen. For me, I turn off most notification except whatsapp.
12) security? I definitely trust iOS more than android due to junk ware and too little updates too late. U try post a security breach in he news and see how fast Apple come out with patch. Android reported security flaws like go into black hole.

I can go on and on. But as u can see, iOS also has many cons over android. No os is perfect. Just which one has more advantage over the other.

Very good points there, mate! That's why we should just END this silly iOS-Android bashing once and for all, and accept the two firmwares for what they are, irrespective of their respective pros and cons. notworthy.gif

Too bad I still see stupid Mat Salleh fanboys running down each other on the comments section of any Apple or Android article written in the USA or some other country, how immature! shakehead.gif

Guilty as charged. I have two phones, one main and one backup. The main one I tend to change it once a year, the backup one I change it every few months or so to try something new. It's a ridiculous waste of money, but since I can't afford to change cars like that...

All good points thumbup.gif

I'll also add that with the continuity feature in iOS 8, I sometimes answer my phone calls and reply to SMS messages using my iPad, which is really convenient as sometimes my phone is in the room and I'd be browsing my iPad downstairs in the living room. Pretty cool smile.gif

A pity Whatsapp doesn't support this...

My biggest issue with Android (I still have my Nexus 5, btw) is the constant micro-management I need to do. Don't get me wrong, I run Linux and BSD in virtual machines all the time and am perfectly comfortable with having to do a lot of tweaking to get things working right.

Thing is, with Linux/BSD, I usually only need to do it once and the changes stick, aside from certain package/port updates breaking stuff if you're running a bleeding-edge distro like Arch Linux or FreeBSD-CURRENT, but with Android, the need to fix stuff never seems to end. Set everything up, and then all of a sudden some app goes rogue and starts draining battery or eating memory like a mofo!!. It just never friggin ends!! Plus you have crap like this to deal with. But the biggest failure of Android (to me) is probably illustrated in this blog post the best. In short, that app prevents malvertising, and Google banned it, which basically means they're admitting to promoting malicious ads.

I love the entire idea of open source and free (as in beer) software (I audit for OpenBSD on the side and have committed dozens of patches for various open source projects) but Android is neither of those. The only "freedom" Google gave was to OEMs and telcos. The "people" get nothing of the sort.

Apple stuff annoys just as much, I hate using OS X, so much so that I run a Linux VM full time on my MacBook, only using OS X for photo-editing or iPhone backups. I hate iOS not allowing us to set default browser, email, etc apps. I hate that we cannot remove apps like Stocks or Podcasts or Tips. I also think Siri is a snotty stuck-up b*tch!! But at least the phone doesn't give me ads on the effin home screen!!

All this Google vs Apple bullsh*t is like the Americans shouting "Freedom!!" and the Russians shouting "Motherland!!" but in reality the two words have exactly the same meaning - Capitalist Propoganda!!

Do take note again that there is no international warranty for iphones no matter what the dealers tells you.

RUMOUR: NEXT GEN IPHONE WILL HAVE 2GB RAM, FORCE TOUCH AND APPLE SIM

user posted image

It’s been about half a year since Apple launched the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and if you’re already sick of those devices, here’s something you might look forward to. The next generation iPhone is reported to sport 2GB of RAM, Force Touch and interestingly, Apple SIM.

According to AppleInsider, the next generation iPhone should be the iPhone 6s, meaning that it will only receive upgrades on the inside while the exterior will remain exactly the same. There should also be a Plus version too, which will also feature similar hardware under a larger display.

The report from AppleInsider goes on to say that their sources are saying that Apple is considering shipping the Apple SIM inside its next generation iPhone(s). Apple SIM, which debuted in the iPad Air 2, allows consumers to sign up to any carrier directly from the Settings app, and switch whenever they want. Sadly though, the feature is not available in Malaysia – imagine the freedom it’ll give users. It’s a strange move though and I’m sure their local carriers will not be happy about that because with Apple SIM, these carriers would lose all their contract customers.

Finally, Appleinsider also says that Apple is considering the use of Force Touch for its next iPhone(s). They did not mention how things would work, but imagine something similar to Force Touch on the Apple Watch, which, should be launched in less than 5 days!

why dont grab from SenQ or Sen Heng? i always tell ppl to get it from them..

reason being they provide extra 1 year warranty service and 1-1 exchange no question ask within 1st year warranty. second year warranty depends on the damage of the phone.
