Yay, I got the iPhone 6 as my Xmas present!

It's indeed a BIG improvement from the 5 that I used previously, especially that screen and the sharper camera. Not forgetting the return to the curved sides, which is very ergonomically friendly against the sharp body of the 5 and 5S! biggrin.gif

The 6+ is hotter than roadside pisang goreng. Make sure you get yours fast.  laugh.gif

Like I mentioned, Mac City Festival mall has what you are looking for in three colours. I heard Machines KLCC also has limited stocks.
*
Hmmm, I can safely say that loads of people will be thronging the Mac City in KL Festival City to get their hands on the iPhone 6, once word gets out on availability of stock over there, haha! cool2.gif

But of course, if this fails, just get it online and if you're like me, the iPhone should be at your door step within 2-3 days from the time you place the order and make payment! rclxm9.gif

I have a 64GB Silver arriving tomorrow. May I ask how trading will affect the warranty claim?
*
If you haven't registered it yet, I think there shouldn't be any issue with the warranty.

Of course, if you have your doubts, just check with Apple to be clear! rclxms.gif

For me is Space Grey/Gold > Silver
I have been using black iphones and white/silver iphones previously, so this time choose gold colour brows.gif

Hahaha, same thinking here, and my favorites are Gold and Space Grey, by the way! rclxm9.gif

16GB will be good enough if you 'upkeep' your phone regularly. You have to delete unwanted pics, whatsapp pics from your phone. If you link your icloud to camera roll, it would even require more storage on your phone. You have to keep games and apps to a minimum and delete unused ones. 16GB is good enough for those who use their phones mainly for calls and social networks and social messaging.
*
If I use a 16GB, it will be maxed out in no time at all. Even when I was using the 32GB iPhone 5, I was left with around 11GB to play with, considering I deleted "big" apps like Asphalt 8 and Football Manager as well as various videos and photos. shocking.gif

At least with the 64GB iPhone 6, the memory has been doubled and after I reinstalled the two apps I deleted earlier, I still have 33.9GB left to use! rclxms.gif

I strongly dont suggest you get your Iphone from Japan. Yes, it will a cheaper (after conversion) but trust me, you will regret if ever you do need to send it back for RMA later. Resale value will be lower too when you sell it off later. Not worth the 200 bucks difference if you ask me.
*
This is the problem now faced by my brother when he bought an iPhone 6 from Dubai. Turns out that it can't work in China due to differing settings and stuff (he's based there for work)! sad.gif

Might as well do what I did and buy the iPhone online, and if you're lucky, it should be at your doorstep within 2-3 days from the date of order + payment! rclxms.gif

Guys how's your iPhone 6 battery performance? Mine seem quite fast battery low.. Maybe playing too much game?
*
Hmmm, mine can give me around 2-3 hours of battery life on a single charge, and without plugging it into my car's auxiliary port to play music. Normally I use this iPhone for calls, texting (including WhatsApp), Internet access, appointment scheduling, taking notes, and photo-taking. biggrin.gif

Of course, when I indulge in all-out gaming (e.g. Asphalt 8, Football Manager 2015, Bejeweled, Stick Tennis, or Angry Birds), the battery life will become significantly shorter! biggrin.gif

This... the sad truth about android sad.gif everyday have to fight with the phone check this check that because at least twice a week my battery would leak dunno go where.
Honestly I still like android. But I'm disappointed Google hasn't done anything about it and still thinks it's OK for an os to drain battery even after so many iterations.
*
Wow, and I thought my iPhone 6 eats a lot of battery life, especially when I'm on heavy gaming, music, and Internet access (or Google+, to be precise), all at the same time! laugh.gif

But come to think about it, that was precisely why I ditched the Samsung Galaxy S Advance for an iPhone 5 - because of the Korean phone's serious battery drain! ohmy.gif

It's likely to be a bug in your iPhone, because I use Notes several times a day and it only shows 1% usage. Maybe a reset can help to put things back in place? biggrin.gif

And you actually used the phone for over 11 hours? You 'da man! rclxms.gif

Not Korean phone, it's android phone in general.

My Note 4 battery couldn't surpass my 6 Plus every time I bring both out and about.

No wonder, even those I know who use Samsung or other Android phones tell me about the weak battery life of their devices. sad.gif

Looks like I'll be sticking to Apple for the foreseeable future then! thumbup.gif

To be fair, if we were to compare the 6 with its competitor the Galaxy S5, I would say that battery life and usage is about the same. So it really depends on the model of the phone, how long it has been used and how you use the phones.
*
Good point, which means obviously the battery will drain a lot faster if you're a hardcore Google+ person like me, who plays music and games at the same time (not forgetting WhatsApp and photo-taking as well), with 3G continuously running! biggrin.gif

As compared with one who only uses his/her phone for calls and texting!

halo guys, i considering ip6 plus, wondering 16g or 32g, any comments fr u guys?
*
Er, mate, there is no 32GB iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. Only the 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB! thumbup.gif

Of course, if you have tons of apps, music, and photos that you want to store in your phone, go for those with the bigger memory space then. And if budget is a constraint (i.e. 128GB is too expensive), the 64GB is more than enough actually! rclxms.gif

Maxis forum

Is it true that the 64gb & 128gb iphone 6 & 6+ having the hardware issue as mentioned by the forumer Thilakan?

" I called up the Maxis customer service (123) and notified by the Maxis personnel that all iPhone 6 64GB & 128GB are having Hardware issue which resulted in Maxis returning it back to Apple and there are no firm date for the fix."

Really? But touch wood, I have had no issues with my "Bigger than Bigger" since I received it on Boxing Day and started using it on the same day. Maybe it's because my unit is from Apple in Yeo Chu Kang, Singapore? thumbup.gif

And if there is such a hardware issue, shouldn't it also be mentioned on the DiGi and Celcom forums here as well? hmm.gif

Hi everyone, wish to share with you guys my experience.
I got my new iPhone 6 plus from Digi, using it till day 5 only. And it got " hang " , black out with no response at all, phone turn heat after few mins. Nothing can do until I perform hard reset thru press wake up / sleep button with home together to reboot it !
Anyone here having same problem like me before with your new iPhone 6/6+ ? Is it serious problem or not ? Thanks in advance to those free to drop ur opinion or sharing your experience here.
Enjoy your weekend : )
*
Hey mate, if the problem continues, it could be some hardware issue, or even something to do with iOS itself. The best thing is for you to go to the DiGi Center and tell them about the problem you're facing with the iPhone 6+.

They should be able to help you out, there and then! thumbup.gif

I heard very bad reviews on Machines too.
*
That's why I prefer the smaller not-so-chain-type outlets like [i] Store (Digital Mall), Mac Studio Live! (Jaya SC), and Mac City (1U). The service from such Apple Resellers is more personalized and friendlier, even if I'm only browsing the products in their shops, unlike the bad experience some of you have had with Machines! thumbup.gif

I bought mine in mines shopping mall switch outlet because of the insurance they offered 2 years dame good. Their service also very good even guide me to registered for the Itune account during my purchased.
*
Switch is indeed another excellent option to get our Apple products. I have bought stuff from the Switch outlets in Bukit Raja SC and the two newer ones in AEON Kulaijaya as well as Mesra Mall Kerteh, and the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

When I was in Kulai on business back in late 2014, I met my company's partners at AEON Kulaijaya and thought of getting my wife an iPhone. Fortunately, there was a Switch outlet in the AEON Mall and after I bought the phone, the staff even told me what to do when connecting the phone to iTunes, for set up. That was a very nice gesture, even if I've been using an iPhone + iPod touch for years and am familiar with the procedure! rclxms.gif

Too bad there are not many Switch outlets here in Greater KL, as the only outlets here are in Bukit Raja and The Mines. Penang Apple fans are so lucky they have such a good Reseller at their region! thumbup.gif

*
Really? That's such a slap to Switch's brand name, considering they has been around since 1995 and already has a reputation for being one of the longest-operating Apple Resellers here in Malaysia! blink.gif

Yeah, Switch should directly compete with Machines and open up few store in Klang Valley. I'd choose to buy from Switch.
*
Hahaha, me too!

In the Greater KL Region, Switch has stores in Bukit Raja and The Mines, as well as a Campus Experience Store in KDU Damansara Jaya. Who knows whether they will open outlets in new malls like Atria DJ (although that will kill their KDU shop), Tropicana City (MyBytes has closed down, and there are a few vacant lots there), or even the new Vision City (is there any Apple Store in that place, by the way)? biggrin.gif

But one thing's for sure - many new malls have Apple Stores as significant tenants (some of them are big shops of two lots or more), which only goes to show how popular Apple products are, amongst today's Malaysian consumers! thumbup.gif
