QUOTE(trade99 @ Dec 20 2014, 09:25 PM) guys... for a not hardcore take picture or video, is it iphone 6+ 16gb enough for use ? I think I'm gonna try 16GB since my usage is fairly light. And since I'm the kind of gadget nut that tends to change phones every year, I'd probably not be able to finish 64GB before my next upgrade or need to take 64gb ? |

QUOTE(Manlet @ Dec 20 2014, 09:40 PM) why i read this thread and most of you still waiting for the iphone one The ones waiting (like myself) are probably waiting for Telco to restock and buy it slightly cheaper on contractwhat is the chance of me getting by next friday if lets say i order from apple store/ ipmart tomorrow or monday also i'm getting iphone 6 mainly for the 240fps video feature, still deciding between 6+ or 6 because the 6 doesnt have video stabilization ? is this small little feature so important ? i've watch slow-mo videos of 6+ and 6 on youtube but cant find any different, maybe they are just better at taking videos or is it dont matter much ? |

QUOTE(deepan84 @ Dec 21 2014, 08:52 PM) i think the sales have stabilized.. supply more than demand in the states. its just in malaysia, telco stocks are horrible.. if apple releases a new phone in march, they can sell the iphone6 to replace iphone5S. since the phone is considered still new, ppl who cant get their hands on the new 6S will opt for the 6. so both models will be peaking in sales. well, thats just my theory. haha. Which is why I'm pretty sure there's something those telcos and Brightstar are not telling us. Anyways, I'm gonna stick with my current phones till January so no switching back to iOS yet for now with apple, anythin can happen. but so far no part leaks means doubt they will be a new phone in march. |

QUOTE(v1n0d @ Dec 23 2014, 08:42 PM) Hello all, first timer here. I can see two possible outcome from this - either you'll like iOS or you'll completely hate it and jump back to Android within 6 months (my guess would be the latter)I'm a long time Android user, looking to switch to an iPhone. I was planning on getting a 6+ from the Apple store, but after reading through some of the threads in this section and I seeing that there are some complaints (especially about the signal quality and some slight lag on the 6+), I'm a little worried. Any 6+ users here who can share their experience with expected problems? I'd like to know if it's worth switching yet, or if I should hold on until a software patch is released. P.S. Would it be worth considering the 5s instead of the 6/6+? The only major issues I see people complaining about for the 5s is battery life and bugs from the latest iteration of iOS. The Apple of today is very different from the Apple of yesteryear. If Steve Jobs was still at the helm of the company, the 6 Plus and iOS 8 for that matter would never have been released to the public at it's bug-ridden state. Long time Apple users who are so used to fluidity of the OS and how it work seamlessly on the hardware are now complaning of lags and what not - something that isn't normal years ago. Maybe competition has forced their hand a bit but they are evolving and need to be given time to get things right. They will release software updates every now and then, so if you wanna wait till they ultimately fix all the issues with iOS 8 or with the iPhone 6 Plus, then you will never get an iPhone. And that is not entirely a bad thing. Ultimately, you need to get something that works for you, and if you're gonna experiment with iOS, I think the minimum you should go with is an iPhone 6, and not the 5S. If you're new the Apple ecosystem and haven't invested into the apps yet, maybe try the entry level 16GB for a while, then decide if iOS works for you or not. Bear in mind though that the entry level 16GB iPhone 6 is more expensive and has less features than Android's latest and greatest flagships at that price point. QUOTE(Blank Space @ Dec 23 2014, 11:23 PM) What lag? Have you used an Android lately? I have a one year old Galaxy Note 3 running Android 4.4.2 and despite Samsung being famous for it's bloatware and lack of optimization, I've not experienced any lag thus far. In fact, I've not even experienced significant lag in my current Asus Zenfone 5 LTE, which retails at a quarter of the price of the iPhone 6 Plus. |

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Dec 23 2014, 08:44 PM) Naik harga lah...! Apa lagi...? Come GST in April, harga naik lagi Haven't you seen Apple Malaysia increases its prices across some of its accessories not too long ago...? Apple USB Power Adaptor went from RM 69 to RM 79 due to RM plunging to 3.20 - 3.30 territory... If RM gets worse, I don't think Apple will wait until the next iPhone refresh to readjust its prices. |

QUOTE(celdric @ Dec 24 2014, 05:13 PM) But I remember the poll last time was 50-50 for 6 and 6 plus. I believe there are still many ppl who would like to get an iPhone struggle between these two. haha But presently at most telcos and retail stores, iPhone 6 seems to be sold out, even for the 16GB variant, where else there are bits of 6 Plus stocks here and there. Does this suggest that most prefer the 6 over 6 Plus, or is it just a stock imbalance? |

QUOTE(v1n0d @ Dec 24 2014, 03:50 PM) I'm familiar with the Apple app ecosystem as my mom has an iPad. After using it, I find that I prefer the simplicity a lot more. I used to more of a power user, but these days I just want something that works, preferably with a lot less troubleshooting. It'll work, just that it might not be an ultra smooth performance as per previous Apple products. But there will be periodic updates to fix those issues. I'm also eyeing a 6 Plus purely for the battery life. |

I don't need to achieve records with battery life, but don't want the phone to die on me when I have one of those long 14 or 15 hours day. I guess the 6 Plus can probably do that, but am curious if the 6 can do that too. Either way, everyone's usage will be different so there's no one screenshot that can fit all. Need to try for yourself and see
