Acually planning when get car go for the tinted and install revers camera. HU and other will not consider coz if may viod warranty

today drive preve i notice that my car easily will engine off...especially when i reverse...come on... i was wondering...proton symptom start to come out already ?

should be exec version. like my car, can't really do anything about it just have to learn and adapt to that engine off thing. sent my car for ecu flashing/setting and now lagi teruk from previously. every morning first start engine have to let it warm up before driving. if use R gear also cannot straight reverse have to gentle slow & steady

can send back to sc let them do the setting but at the moment i just don't have the time yet.

at least my car now no more that air filter box sound effect when hit 2.5k rpm.

forget it, SC and even CoSE can't do anything to fix it. consider engine juddering when in 'R' as feature in Proton. atleast your life will be better.

or you might wanna clean your throttle body first and see how.

Re : the engine shutting down by itself when reversing the car, it is not only the low-spec Preve but I experienced the same with my Preve Turbo also. It's not exactly serious since the frequency of the engine shutting down is not like 5 times in 1 month. In my case, it is about 5 times in 1 year. Though when it happens, you would think why this is happening. If the engine on a 15-year old car shuts down by itself then it is comprehensible. Perhaps there are some minor flaws in the design that need to be ironed out by Proton.

i guess during cold start? if exec i belip it share the same engine and gb as saga flx se which i own, need to panas enjin 1st during morning before go to reverse or d, if not enjin will semput2 like dying. not a major prob actually.

Since we are talking about engine, I would like to share my experience too.

Got few times when I'm driving, the pedals (brake and accelerate) seems 'disconnected' and unresponsive. Worse timing happened when I'm cruising at 80 KM/H in a heavy rain on a highway heading to Kuantan, luckily it's for a very short time and there's no car infront of me.

p/s: the engine doesn't stall, just the pedal unresponsive.

Premium, the stock tint is quick ok, you can just replace the windscreen one then good to go.
About the HU, it wont void your warranty if your workshop know what he is doing. As long as no wire cutting, no warranty will void. even if void, it just wire warranty, other major thing like engine and gearbox not affected.

Nope. I would never set it to S especially during the rain unless if I want to overtake.

Nope. Why? Because it happened once on a dry road driving at 10 KM/H.

I did not know that I have set it in S mode until later (my normal mode is D). Thus the need to check if something is out of normal.

Just received my black preve cfe last Friday. So far got:
1)brake kut... Kuk sound
2) auto wiper not function

I think (2) can be fixed easily. (1) I believe need disc skimming. How long does it take to repair?
