my pc just won't load Windows on anything above 240mhz. 239mhz is still fine but 240mhz..

QUOTE(RAM Guy from corsair house of help) Value Select modules are built with RAMs that are procured at the wafer level and are packaged and tested to our specifications. As such, they are not available as individual ICs, only as modules. This approach allows us to ship product with very good performance characteristics, low product cost, and a very low return rate. |

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Jan 22 2007, 06:43 PM) yeah...me myself also wonder, what did i did to get it 240MHz... can you pls try to recall? cuz i desperately want to go above 2.1ghz. it's too slow. my target's around 2.7~ghz.my friggin DT-D43's not doing anything, running at 235mhz. before you past 240mhz, what hdd were you using? the same one? cuz i remember someone telling me that Seagate HDD's don't go well with MSI board's or something. |

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Jan 22 2007, 11:14 PM) nope, when cold-boot...what i meant was...normally, you just switch on right, so, this time, while switching on, hold Insert key until POST come up...after then, should be allright already...please do note, it'll HALT at POST screen, just press F1, it'll continue to boot...i don't know why MSI behave like this...something like Overclocking Safe Boot... hm.. alright.. so actually, i need to cold-boot it in order for it to run >240mhz? |

I need your opinion. Not exactly opinion actually..... I wanna know the truth
RAM DIVIDER QUESTION 166/200 of 270FSB means RAM Speed = 220Mhz (CPU will be 270 x 9 = 2.43Ghz) or 133/200 of 320FSB means RAM Speed = ~212Mhz (CPU will be 320 x 9 = 2.88Ghz) WHICH IS BETTER? *add-on* I understand that the RAM speed should always try to sync with FSB 1:1 but what if I lowered the RAM divider, does it make my Overclocking worse?
