Increment in June? Last time I check, my promotion+increment in Dec (Jan) wor... Wah, means this round, we will have another increment in June? sure or not? Usually promotion means additional responsibility, hence increase in salary as well...

Can't wait to see see my new pay slip muahahahaha. Well, anyways still 1 month plus till its announce.

Lol, I dun know abt other depts but M's partner-in-charge announce in an email that all those join the dept last year but did not get promoted at the year end would be given increment as a way to compensate them. If the old policy still exist, those who join in May-Sep last year would have been promoted this coming June. So its fairer la to at least compensate them in monetary terms. In addition, I think those top performers would also be given increment in order to retain them judging by the recent senior turnover rate in my dept. We even lost several jobs to your dept, G or should I say, temporary loan biggrin.gif . Next week is your senior meeting for performance evaluation right? Probably Man Kwong will announce the increment thing after that.

Hoho, I hope its a firm wide thingy, where all will get slight increment, maybe top performers higher than average...than at least all of us can benefit from it:) . Afterall. I think AA1-Manager level pay is still lower than the rest the other 2 big4s...

And btw, its Mun Kong! Not Man Kwong! hehe...

hi there.. I am a newbie here.. and this have been a really informative thread!! I have been wondering.. I did not get any reply from deloitte after submitting my resume.. does it mean I don't stand any chance? same case goes with BDO. I did get reply from EY.. asking me for my latest softcopy transcript and results.. there after I hear nothing from them. It has been a month ago since I submitted my resume and about 2-3 weeks ago since I email my results to them.. does it mean I don stand a chance too? I tried looking for their email to send to EY's other branch such as Melaka's branch or even Penang's branch but I can't find the emails.. any suggestion as to where can I get the email? or anyone can kindly provide me the email address ? unsure.gif

FMK hasnt announce the interim increment for "eligible" staff at G?

KHAW kinda made some announcement to M's staff about it though.

But i doubt the increment is any higher. To be frank, I would rather skip the increment, and get lesser workload smile.gif

the last jump was terrible. This is by far my worst peak... WORST!

the fact that i am still here posting a message rings a bell.. on a bloody JUNE..! we have only a few June year end accounts by the way.

blergh!

no offense here bro. but given that your girlfriend has up to adv. diploma, it would be quite hard to apply for big 4 as its applicants, on a majority basis (if not whole), already possess at least a degree or a degree + MBA (australian grads). Would be a tough call for her to compete with the graduate applicants.

however, they might consider your girlfriend's previous work experience and might recruit her based on that as well. personally, i see no harm in trying to apply for big 4 if that's what she wants. a degree is just an easier passport to securing an interview, but it all depends on your performance in the interview that counts...as i've seen my first class honours friend who had been rejected by the big 4
