dont waste money on equalizer. Change your component speakers and add a decent quality 4 channels amplifiers and head unit. If space allow add in a subwoofer n 2 channel amp. Maybe u like to play active too.

hi.. wanna ask bout setup.. noob about ice here..

just buy a 2nd HU kenwood from a member.. is it got amp?

now using it to blast :
2x front speaker (mtx audio)
2x tweeter (jbl)
2x 6x9 speaker (mtx audio)
1x underseat subwoofer (2 speaker inside - kenwood JDM model)..

so.. when installing the new HU, i just know that my car previous owner put an amp underseat and install a cross over for the tweeter (jbl).. but he already take the amp out, crossX still avail.. so now how to setup back? do i need to buy another amp? how much wattage? how many channel?

running without amp now.. just depend on subwoofer amp to blast.. seem like speaker not getting enough power..

i love the tweeter but sometimes, the low pitch sound.. damn hurt my ear.. anyway to reduce it (pre-amp?)..

get an amp, the head unit amp is very very small, not enough, especially for the speakers u stated above. and get the passive xover from your friend, look for a 4ch amp to start with, to power the front speakers (mtx+jbl tweet+xover) and the rear 6x9. the underseat woofer has inbuilt amp inside already. once the tweeter is connected to the passive xover the sound will be better..

monoblock is a single channel amp, used usually for subwoofers
u can use either 2ch or monoblock for the sub, all depends on what power is required by the sub and how it is wired, if its single voice coil or double
no pls do not connect the 2ch amp to both your components and sub
your components will not sound better, and either the amp will rosak or your speakers will
if u plan to upgrade to better 4ch amp, u can use the new 4ch amp to power both your front components and your sub. use old 2ch for the rear speakers.

why not just get 1000 for a 4ch amp, much better quality.

rear speaker just connect direct to head unit, or use back your old amp.

400 and 600 amp will be cap ayam
