QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Apr 26 2019, 11:31 AM) Where can I buy some nice designs touch n go card? Go to Lazada or Shopee. I wanna deactivate the one that I'm using right now cause it's ugly. Plenty of attractive design TNG card selling, but at premium price of course, if u willing to pay. Eg. https://shopee.com.my/Touch-N-Go-Card-*LIMI...7680.1906145899 https://shopee.com.my/Touch-n-Go-Card-Limit...9527.1031047511 https://shopee.com.my/Touch-n-Go-card-(Spec...1652.2151280769 Else you can go apply Tesco Clubcard (with built-in TNG feature) or Watson by walk-in. |

Now that toll payments can deduct from E-wallet.
It would be great for existing money in TNG card to be able to transfer in to E-wallet. |

QUOTE(Rudd @ Jun 4 2019, 04:32 PM) Now that toll payments can deduct from E-wallet. I don't think that's doable at the moment. The problem with TnG is that the value of the card is stored in the card itself, not the server. Therefore, whenever you wanted to debit or credit the TnG card, it needs to be scanned to update the new value in the card.It would be great for existing money in TNG card to be able to transfer in to E-wallet. What you're asking for is only doable if TnG provides a kiosk with scanner that allows customers to transfer their TnG card value to the eWallet account. Maybe we'll see that once PayDirect is enable for every single highway in the country, especially PLUS. |

My friend always quoted Hong Kong Octopus card n e-wallet https://www.lowyat.net/2018/158324/new-touc...transfer-funds/ it was called PUD (pick up device). it was used to transfer funds from e-wallet -> physical card, but doable from card -> ewallet. Their card balance and e-wallet balance able to sync almost instantly... In order to achieve this, that mean the whole TnG infrastructure need to link to internet which current system can't support or need to have strong back-end processing which TnG hesitate to invest Imagine every single vendor having PUD device Nationwide.... It's cost bomb to TnG |

It's cost bomb to TnG the problem is tng card's infra is archaic and offline when they started TNG many yearssssssssssssssssss ago. the re-imagined of ewallet is good, imo. and gradually linking the offline tng card with online ewallet. |

I sincerely think the gradual migration to their eWallet app is the most cost efficient way to move forward, as long as they can get all the different highway concessionaires to opt-in.the problem is tng card's infra is archaic and offline when they started TNG many yearssssssssssssssssss ago. the re-imagined of ewallet is good, imo. and gradually linking the offline tng card with online ewallet. |

QUOTE(eddievh @ Jun 5 2019, 01:25 AM) After it expired? I changed mine after it was expired due to no new TnG card available back then. Had to repeatedly call the service center to inquire if they've restocked & when it did, I just went there & had it replaced. You can also use your NRIC's TnG as backup if you're worried. |

I've only had an expired TnG card once so no idea when they stopped collecting the RM5 deposit. |

As far as I rmbr, replace your wear-and-tear card (balance will refund to your CASA) and get a new one is free of charge.I've only had an expired TnG card once so no idea when they stopped collecting the RM5 deposit. I did mine at Bangsar South TNG main office. |
