I tried reload rm10 from online banking . Then tried with m8 soft pin. It show code has been redeemed.  Maybe t n c changed?

Can i use same phone log in log out for different account? Does it matter?
*
Yes, Tng has recently changed the terms and conditions. You will be entitled either the RM5 cashback or the RM8 reload with pin.

I did that, top up RM10 first, after few days only top up using soft PIN that someone shared to me.
*
I reloaded RM10 in August, and managed to get the RM5 cash rebate. Then, later successfully reloaded RM8 using the soft pin. But, that was before Tng changed the tnc. In September, when I tried to help my friend with the top up, I did the same, reloaded RM10 first, but then couldn't reload with the RM8 soft pin. The popped up message says that I'm no longer eligible to use the campaign's Reload PIN to reload.

How do we pay using tng ewallet at Tesco self checkout counter? What payment mode do we select? There are three selections: cash, card/credit, coupon/voucher.

Just now I tried to choose Card/Credit payment, and the GHL scanner didn't light up. I still tried scanning my QR code, but it didn't work. So in the end, I just used Samsung Pay to pay.

QUOTE(David83 @ Jan 20 2019, 01:07 PM)
The middle button called EDM.
The same button when you use credit card.
*
EDM? Where is that button? On the self-checkout screen or on the card terminal? Don't remember seeing EDM on the payment mode selection. But now that you mention, I will take note the next time and search for that.

On a side note, there's a cashback promo for tng ewallet again, where we can earn up to RM888 with min spending of RM8. That is why I wanted to use tng ewallet to pay.

Just now I failed to add BigPay as the source to TnG e-wallet.
What you guys put for name on the card? Name as per NRIC?
What bank you guys put? CIMB? Tune Money? Others (BigPay)?
*
I put name as per IC. I don't remember having to put bank name. Anyway, I always use Tune Money.

Hi just want to check :-

recently i went to Annie One and some others cafe to have lunch and noticed they have tng e wallet. However, when I wanted to let them scan my QR code they ask me to scan their QR code instead. After that I realized this way I am not able to participate in the cash back offer.

can I insist the merchant to scan my QR code or use the pay function?
*
If you see the merchant having the QR code printed at their cashier, it will mean that they only accept tng when you scan their code. To have them scan our code, they will need to have the scanning device, like what they have at KK Mart, Popular, Tesco, Tealive etc.

How to get the 20% rebate?
*
QUOTE(cybpsych @ Mar 1 2019, 09:20 AM)
use rfid lanes
*
And also... you must have a tng card added into the ewallet in order to enjoy the rebate promo.

A bit confuse here with the bold words.
Or it shall be "pay toll by using the added card as a medium"
*
You must have a tng card added into your ewallet to activate the rebate.

You will get the 20% rebate if:
1) you use RFID
2) you travel on DUKE, SMART AND LKSA using tng card (ewallet will be deducted for the fare)

You won't get the 20% rebate if you travel on other tolls with tng card.

In short, if toll fare is not deducted from ewallet, no rebate will be given.

not really accurate with that, RFID tolls that deduct from eWallet but not at participating tolls also won't be given 20% rebate.
Only the following Pay Direct-enabled tolls are eligible for the rebate regardless of RFID or eWallet linked SmartTAG / TNG card.

Rebates are given to all rfid usage on all toll booth up to a maximum of RM0.60 rebate.

This is rebate given at Kesas using rfid.

Under terms and conditions item 3.

I am not confuse with the item 1,2 and 3 as what you have stated.
I am confuse of payment method, should be pay by card (deduct card money) or pay by ewallet (deduct app money)
Yes, all are clear except this
"Pay toll using the added TNG Card at participating highways or the RFID feature during the Usage Period;"
Pay toll using added card mean deduct card money, right?
Or as stated in their website, "The physical Touch ‘n Go card that has been added into the eWallet will be used as a medium to pass through all “Touch ‘n Go” and “SmartTAG” toll lanes." which the card is just a medium to access to ewallet and the toll fares will be deducted from app.
*
If you have added your tng card into your ewallet app, when you pass through DUKE, SMART and LKSA, you can tap your physical tng card (the same one you have added into the app) at TnG lane or SmartTAG lane, the fare will be deducted from your ewallet, and cashback will be given to you. But if you do not have sufficient balance in your ewallet, the fare will then only be deducted from your card balance. Tng called this Pay Direct. It will be introduced to other tolls in the near future. So the card is just a medium to access the ewallet.

anyone encountered balance not deducted from e-wallet after using RFID?
i passed through NPE kuchai lama to sunway yesterday 4:40pm, only deducted 2.30 (discount 0.46) but RM1 is not being deducted.
*
Yes, sometimes there will be a delayed deduction. Take note of this so you won't be surprised when they deduct it a few days later.

Must be already finished redemption

I used today and cashier deducted RM8. Did the cashier forget to deduct RM8 for you? The deduction is not from the app. You tell the cashier you are using TnG wallet and they will minus RM8 for the total amount.

Hahaha.... it's really really instant rebate... there and then deduct from the total amount. No need to shake, no need to tap, no need to wait till next working day to get cashback..... hence, instant....lol
