PACKAGE : MAXIS WIRELESS 3G 768 kbps (kilobits per second) || (768/8 = 96kiloBytes per second) COVERAGE AREA : 17/2, PJ, KL NETWORK TYPE : EDGE? WTF!!! WEATHER : DAMN GOOD DAY TEST RESULT : The worst ever, no even better than the dial-up, I think maxis throttle my bandwidth ... Experiments : - Flash Get - U Torrent : - ZTE || 192.168.0.1 || NETWORK TYPE Is that exceed the 3GB fair usage bandwidth policy and throttle without notification ? I do had downloaded exceed 3GB since the 10/07/2007 the technician come to setup it for me. This post has been edited by cinbao: Jul 30 2007, 04:36 AM |

Wireless Broadband & Wired Broadband is package under Maxis Broadband where you will provide modem & phone upon registration. The concept is u need to use the sim card provided by Maxis, insert into modem to connect to internet. More info, you can refer to Maxis BroadbandMaxis Internet2Go serves up a data network that allows you to be connecting to the internet via your mobile phones in GPRS, EDGE, 3G or HSDPA. Advantage is u just need a 3G phone & data cable to connect with your laptop or PC. Suggest u subscribe unlimited data package if u plan to connect for internet surfing or heavy data usage. More info, refer to Maxis - Internet 2 Go |
