I only pay for subscription & modem rental fee only... This post has been edited by alextee1881: Jul 25 2007, 05:09 PM |

cinbao --> Have u try to connect Maxis WBB now? How is the speed?
Maybe that time 3AM technician are doing maintenance job. Just wondering whether Maxis activate the Fair Usage Policy since some of u guys having this low speed when running BT. Are problem in normal surfing? Ever try using speedtest.net to try ur connection speed? This post has been edited by alextee1881: Jul 30 2007, 10:36 AM |

QUOTE(chincjx @ Jul 30 2007, 10:35 AM) Thanks . but maxis got 2 package : 1 is wireless broadband (384kb $68)1 is internet 2 go(use phone as modem and unlimited $99) . wat different and which better ? Wireless Broadband & Wired Broadband is package under Maxis Broadband where you will provide modem & phone upon registration. The concept is u need to use the sim card provided by Maxis, insert into modem to connect to internet. More info, you can refer to Maxis BroadbandMaxis Internet2Go serves up a data network that allows you to be connecting to the internet via your mobile phones in GPRS, EDGE, 3G or HSDPA. Advantage is u just need a 3G phone & data cable to connect with your laptop or PC. Suggest u subscribe unlimited data package if u plan to connect for internet surfing or heavy data usage. More info, refer to Maxis - Internet 2 Go |

QUOTE(cinbao @ Jul 31 2007, 10:55 PM) do u BT ? or just normal surfing, r u subcrised with fair usage policy ? U may refer to Fair Usage Policy where its stated:Maxis site still state with the Fair Usage Policy but I was subcrised without it, being cheated ? but I am read through every single rules / term & conditions / disclaimer / policy, no such "Fair Usage Policy" found inside the contract ... I think I am gonna ask more details when I am going to pay the 1st month bill ... QUOTE This Policy supplements the Maxis Broadband Terms & Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions |

Esp SS2 (my streamyx is really, really bad) As per current promo, everything on above is waived.I heard that Maxis is going to offer cash and carry for their wireless broadband package. No need to wait for installer, and no installation fees (only activation fee). Sounds like a good reason to switch since I'm paying money for a bad connection now anyway |
