Dude

Firstly , I dont suggest you to go with maxis. Read all the rants and raves about it. Unless you want a mobile broadband. If you are a heavy downloader , please stick to streamyx.

Maxis is not for heavy p2pers. If you want torrent freedom without 3g cap then go for their Internet2Go package , that gives you an external IP with no p2p blocks (you don't get blocked) and you are assign a different IP Range

yeap.unless u're a mobile user or some student that rent a house for just a year like me, i think its better for u to go for streamyx or maxis wired broadband.

where are u staying?maybe theres maxis wired or jaring wired there?

guess speedtest.net testing cant be used right now.im getting around 50kBps download while speedtest.net stated i only got around 180kbps = 22.5kBps.server cyberjaya.haizz..

so im using jaring speedtest for neutrality.here's the result:

Added on October 10, 2007, 5:13 amim torrenting @ 85kBps right now.

Just my opinion, better use the cheapest paskage, because not much different between 384kbps and 3.5mbps...because you wont get better speed if you upgrade to 3.5mbps...im using 384kbps, morning 8am to 9am can get up to 1mb...night down to 10kbps...there is so many maxis bb user complain the speed is very slow...many of them is using 768kbps...

I am thinking of downgrading as well....Not worth the upgrade now. You better wait till maxis admits their problem and improves their infrastructure
