got the game, but have yet to install. prob is that my game comp has no internet connection...is there another way to install? manually perhaps?

i believed activation can only by done thru internet. unless......

no, 2k increased it to 5 times activation on different comps, and 5 times on the same comp. so technically u get 25 activations.

it's definately scarier than doom 3. Dunno la, no monsters, just mutated humans, maybe that's the scary part because they actually speak. And the sound effects if you play surround sound, then you will realize.... it is damn blardee scary esp that one part... when you pick up at an upgrade, a bit of smoke here and there, suddenly u turn.... a monster appears behind u trying to kill u with a pipe!

it used to be scary until i realized i am immortal. technically at least. up until now i have yet to use any firstaid kits yet, or fired any shots. the wrench and vita chambers breaks the game itself.

Scary:

Just imagine, you meet a splicer (aka zombie in bioshock), and he spots you. He starts running at you at full speed, dragging his pipe weapon on the ground that causes it to spark, while screaming 'Don't run away, I just want to be your friend!!'

The same thing happened in system shock 2; the zombie trying to kill you while at the same time saying "I'm soooorry!". One psycho game

wonder how my 8600gts do on this game.

Running it on a Acer 5920 with 2GB ram and 8600M GT. Not bad I'd say, except for the control lag. Mostly get 20-30FPS on medium (texture set to high, disable vsync)

finally managed to install it... had process explorer open and that caused some problems.

Anyway the subtitles seem to be appearing too fast. How to fix that?

Played it...lurve it.....The only thing I hate is the big daddies....

They are insanely hard to kill...Died about 4 times b4 manage to kill one

I don't call it hard when I can lure it to a vita chamber and use the die-respawn-whack cycle to kill it without wasting any ammo/eve/first aid kits. In fact, it is disastrously too damned easy.
