i have to agree with you, the game doesnt really innovate in anyway except for the graphics (the water)
other than that, the gameplay is so dull, go to one room, kill enemies, go into another room, kill enemies again
my biggest disappointment, i stopped at the level where i have to save the oxygen or something
i don understand how can this gaame possibly get a 9+ rating...
but don flame me please, just my opinion
The gameplay is really not your typical FPS.
Its got some RPG element without too many RPG-conversation or RPG-grind/build
There are many ways to kill the enemies, be creative. I especially love Big Daddy fight. Normally i will use the bolt trap and the proximity mines ... totally awesome,
You can also go half-life gravity gun using the telekinesis. You can go melee, or plasmician or totally weapon master.
Big Daddy fight is sooo addictive.
what makes it get 9/10 is the lore and the art, plus solid gameplay + good storyline, man i loves the storyline
Rapture feels so classic and alive, name me one game with so much environemental detail as Rapture.
The only games that I think is on par in term of setting background is COD4 and crysis, Half-Life 2
Even Far Cry 2 feels repetitively the same...
It makes me go "WTF!" so many times...
I still wanna play this game on harder difficulty.
