Basically you are right. But for monthly spending above rm2000, then it is a good option.

You can use it to pay for other bills too sis, or do some weekend shopping. 1 year u can get back >rm600 cash back. gov tax is only rm50. better than paying all that by cash.

By the limit, the CL is not shared.

My MBB2 and this car has different figures for the CL.

Maybank rejected my application for this card. I already have the mbb2cards plat, guess I'll just use that first and show good payment record and try again next year lol.

I applied for Gold and they approved me for Platinum.

Do you have HLB's STUPID card already? If not, just get this as got 8.25% of cash back.
If you can consistently spend > rm2500 only consider get this card.

I applied mine at maybankard centre and was told that the new policy is such that they won't allow same person having mb2cards and this ikhwan card. was told now they are more lenient but my credit limit for this card will only be rm1-2k .

was told when the card is approved and I'm not happy with the CL I have to call to transfer/share my mb2card limit

I think it mainly depends on the MCC code when they register their terminal.
