checked it from post laju website..the cost is RM56 for pos laju and approx RM15 for pos express..
which is more secure?

AFAIK, u cant ship somtin' as big as a casing via PosEkspres. Only 2 options available : PosLaju or standard parcel (u can add few more bucks for PosDaftar)

Alternately, u may enquire private courier companies. Some offer attractive rates even for walk-in customers but I'd totally 4gotten the charges

nvm..i used pos daftar to ship both heavy items..one to perlis and another one to pinang and each one costs below RM20..but i require more times to get delivered.

so basically which is the best and cheap method to post a pc casing?especially the heavy one..

you can call Poslaju service centre and try to track that the package and try to ask them to sent back to ur sender location (if the parcel still in their hand)

Hye guys, i have a question to ask, hope someone can clarify me on the following matter.

i am selling my psp to a fellow forumer here in LYN. the thing is, i'm in JB while he's in Kelantan, so far away thus have to do by postage. i wont be using poslaju due to past bad experience with them, instead will be using either skynet or abx courier service.

what i'm really worried of now is that if anything happen during shipping due to mishandling of the item, will the courier company hold responsibility for the damage and pay back the full amount of the item?

hope someone can answer this question for me, thanks a lot notworthy.gif

They wont compensate u fully & the terms varies frm 1 company to another. So the best is check w/ the one u gonna use directly. But if item just damaged/broken I dont think they'll even entertain

Gee ohmy.gif

Thanks for the answer bro. So in this case, buyer has to understand that seller shall NOT be held responsible for damage during shipping.....

Dats not fully rite. In my personal opinion, seller still has this 'limited' responsibilty like making sure item properly packed (befitting its nature) , updating customers on latest status & cross-check w/ shipping company in case any prob crops up

One definitely dont want a customer thousands of kilometres away ordering somtin' & later felt unsatisfied due to seller's own mistake.

Go as far possible in makin' their life easier & happier, & they'll come back again & again 2 u. They wont even think of other sellers tongue.gif

got a question here,
the fee of posting postlaju is different $$ at different area?
**my area parit buntar, perak
recently i post a parcel,
the fee is very expensive which reaches 20++,

but my customer said (sarawak),
the fee should be RM15+- and he said he very familiar with it
he said from penang post to sarawak should just at the cost he mentioned,
just hope someone can give me the answer,
thanks~

The questions is:
1. Is the postage fee different with different location?
2. Is the postage fee more expensive at ulu-ulu punya area?
The postage fee is pointed to sending parcel.

Probably u r bein' charged based on volumetric weight coz shipment charge frm anywhere in Peninsula to S'wk is uniform

If it's within Peninsula, dats too high unless the seller is also charging for handling services

PosLaju is faster than PosDaftar (it's just normal delivery w/ xtra service whr recipient's signature required)

I got a question here regarding pos express services..

Every pos express envelope has stated the max weight and thickness right?
like RM2.50 one has stated Do Not Exceed Limit; Max Weight:100gm, Max Thickness:3mm

Let say i wanna post a stuff and the total weight and thickness are 110gm and 3.5mm respectively. What will happen if we exceed the limit given? Any actions taken by posmalaysia guyz?
