QUOTE(wKkaY @ Sep 9 2006, 04:20 AM) Postage Q&A does this also applies to PosEkspress? Q: What happen when the Poslaju postman comes when you're not at home? A: They will send you a card asking you to self collect at their Poslaju branch (a map is provided for reference). (4) You may also call them to resend it. (8) |

QUOTE(~*pepper*~ @ Nov 16 2006, 12:29 PM) PosDaftar is similar to normal shipping where u hav 2 weigh & then get stamps. Just that u need get the sticker for xtra RM 1.70. So, in short, the rate depends on weightQUOTE(neaevia @ Nov 27 2006, 09:20 AM) PosEkspres doesnt require signatures so the posmen 'll just put inside mailbox or throw over into ur home compound |

Hi all!
I just want to inquire, if I'm shipping somethin small (eg. RAM) would it be cheaper to send by POSTLAJU or private courrier companies? What would the approximate cost be? Would it depend on the size of the box I ship it in? Which would be the safer alternative? Thanks! |

QUOTE Q: Does Poslaju require a signature for all the mail/package no matter what size is it? A: The new Pos laju form requires you to tick either "Document" or "Non-document". If you tick non-document, then you may have to declare its contents and sign it off too. (11, 12) Even if you declare it as non-document, most of the post office only charge for documents rate which is RM4.73 for below 0.5 kg. Recently i quoted a buyer for shipment charges for 100 pcs LED's with in Peninsular Malaysia. The seller referring to poslaju webpage where shipment for parcel is charged at RM8.00 for below 0.5kg . Should I pay RM 8 or RM 5? |
