I would like to know what is the cheapest way to send stuff (parcel) overseas?
For example: Countries like US, UK, India, Australia, Japan or HK?

Thanks in advance. wink.gif

The cheapest of course is to use the normal parcel or registered parcel through post office, if the price is the only criteria.

Hi All sifu,

I purchase a phone case from korea on 5th Nov 2012.
I was given a tracking code to trace the shipping status in korea.

My question is, when my item arrived Malaysia can i continue use this tracking id to trace my item?
Or there will be another tracking code to use? If yes how can i get the local tracking code?

Attachement is my shipping status, and it already arrived Malaysia KL.

Please advise  rclxub.gif

If it is EMS usually you can by plugging in the Tracking number into Poslaju's website

OK. What about with a safe tracking code to overseas? I understand Pos Ekspres tracking code covers only within Malaysia, however off Malaysia we can't know whether the parcel is sent or not.
Among these shipping company UPS, DHL, Fedex and etc. Which are the most affordable ones? hmm.gif
Thanks

Hi,

I have posted hand creams to a customer through PosLaju a few days ago. The hand tubes were placed in a hard box and even wrapped with bubblewraps but by the time the customer has received it, the tubes were dented everywhere and totally unpresentable.

Does PosLaju provide any compensation damage for it as my customer wants to return the product and it is definitely not up for selling anymore in that state?

Can anyone help?

TQ

Yes, the poslaju provided compensation. I think is RM300 (need verification). You can refer to note behind of your consignment note. However, the claim is not so easy (as usual, for government-linked company.....). You need to make claim in poslaju center.

poslaju will pay to you, the shipper. I don't know how fast but it is not optimistic. sorry to tell you this. whether to pay to your customer first or wait, it depend on your own decision and customer service strategy. this i cannot answer.

I think you cant you PosDaftar when your item is more than 2kg. You have to use parcel delivery instead but if you opt for parcel by land/sea delivery, it takes about 2-4 weeks for delivery. if you need it to be delivered urgently, better use parcel by air but it will be quite costly sweat.gif

Is the post office air parcel safe? Can I get insurance/claim it later if it goes missing? Others seem a little too high for sending magazine sad.gif
