Is the post office air parcel safe? Can I get insurance/claim it later if it goes missing? Others seem a little too high for sending magazine sad.gif

Not safe. Use it for low value items. You can buy insurance on it but don't hope too much. You know lah, their standard of efficiecy.

Hey all, I've got a question that somewhat bothers me,

I'm looking forward to buy a headphone from the US for about 699 USD + 52.75 USD for shipping charges (fedex international)

I believe the above item is currently taxable. however my question is, when the item reaches Malaysia.

What is the current process of clearing the items from customs, will I need to personally to go to the customs office or will fedex charge me upon receipt of the headphones on my doorstep?

Sorry for the stupid question, first time buying an item online that falls under the taxable category.

Hi guys, Ive got a question regarding postage

I have zero experience of postage (sending), so I need a few pointers. I wanted to make a postage of a motherboard (which is inside its box). So the following are my questions:

1) Do I have to find another brown box to put the motherboard inside the brown box?

2) How should I properly wrap the item?

3) What postage should I choose?

4) When I go to the post office, what do I ask for? Do I have to weight it first or what?

5) Should there be any damage or the item lost during the postage, me(the seller) or the buyer should be responsible?

Hope u guys can answer my question, thanks smile.gif

U may refer to here http://www.pos.com.my/pos/personal/special_mail.aspx
As long u can fit inside the envelope and fit all the criteria, then is yes.

I would say no. pos express is meant for documents only.
better use pos laju although it is a little bit more expensive.
