My GS70 notebook is falling apart after 3 years plus of heavy usage. The screen is showing ghosting images and the battery could not be charged anymore.

Where I could replace the screen and battery? The notebook is no longer under warranty and I don't mind going to any third party shop as long as I could get replaced immediately since I'm from east coast and only occasionally come down to Klang Valley. I've asked few shops in Kuantan, and none able to do the replacement without ordering the spare parts, which they estimated to take at least 1 month.

Buy GS73. The GTX1060/1070 is about 400% improvement from your GTX860m/870m.

Lol.. I'm looking at options at this moment. If could repair it at a cheap price, I'd prefer to do so instead of spending thousands at new laptop. Mine is GTX765, so maybe 500% improvement. Hehehe.

Should be 5lbs. around 2.3kg. The GT series is about 5kg (with 2 graphics card, 2ssd and hdd, heatsink, 2or 3 fans), GS series is 1.8kg. So the GE series cant be 5kg.

Thinking about buying an msi laptop, was hoping to get some feedback from you all. Is it good?

When I told a friend, he said better buy Asus ROG, because MSI sometime have problem like component problem or hinge break. This just rumours, or is it true?

Also, I'm planning to move to Australia towards the end of the year for while. If I buy a MSI laptop here, will the warranty cover me if I go outside boleh land?

No idea. He got evidence from forum post or something? Anyway, last time MSI is using aluminium even for the cover beside the keyboard. Asus is mostly high quality plastic. Either laptop is good.

Hi guys can help me with something

user posted image

I recently cloned my HDD into SSD. There seem to be an unallocated space there which is quite annoying because I can't fully utilized my SSD

And can someone explain why there is so many hidden partition and they're taking chunk of space too.

1. what's the 310MB healthy EFI
2. the OS install, which is C:/ drive how can I expand the storage?
3. Why is there 2 partitions for recovery? one is 900mb and another is 19.52gb?
4. the unallocated space, I tried to merge the partition but it greyed out the option to merge.

Pls help

edited: by the way my SSD is 250gb Samsung evo
edited: ok now Ive done my homework, my real question is. I want my SSD to only have 1 partition, C:/ that is. And I cant expand the OS install C:/ because there is a recovery partition next to it.
