hi, this may be a common question, but just want to make a quick check as i didnt see it in post #1

i have been told by a card agent that only transactions of RM50 or more are entitled for CB

if lets say:

1st to 9th transaction = RM 50 each
10th transaction = RM 30
11th transaction = RM 50
12th transaction = RM 30
* all within selected categories

the CB will be activated after the 11th transaction (10 x RM 50) for transaction 1-9 and 11. My question is: do i get CB for transaction 10 and 12?

thanks
*
Yes, u will get the cashback for all 12 transaction as long as it is within ur selected categories.

as long as you swipe 10x >rm50 in a calendar month, you will be entitled for the 10% on everything (within your selected categories) which you have swiped earlier or later.

With AF, you are still getting 8.6% of cash back.
Still the highest cash back card in Malaysia if you spend/swipe rm1000 sharp a month for your selected categories thumbup.gif

I make it very simple, this shall not be your first card.
Only get this card if your spending average on 1500-2000 every month.
If you spend on other categories, it will dilute your cash back.
And you can use it to make some extra money thumbup.gif

I have a different opinion. This card should be your fixed expenses card. Those that won't change much from month to month. Utility bills (for those with high ones), phone bill, and grocery/petrol (depending which one is more).

For those 'one-off' bills use Maybank2Kard or AEON.

MBB dual cards will be the best option.
But the catch is, you have to use the Amex only.
