Nope, I'm trying all sorts of solutions except clean install. If I do clean install, how will my license from Windows 8.1 be transferred over when RTM is available? I worried won't be able to get windows 10 RTM if clean install.

I think, even with a clean new install (without formatting) it will copy first your existing installation data etc. That was what happened when I did a new installation for 10074 from the previous version.

no, you don't need to use your w8.1 key for w10 tech preview. it's automatically activated when the computer is connected to the internet.

when w10 rtm is here, be patient and wait for the official steps to get the free upgrade.

sorry i didn't try that mail app out. i use Mozilla Thunderbird for mail because it's much more convenient to manage and restore.

it seemed that there is no working fix for this start menu bug yet for build 10125 also.

Finally the auto patch to 10122 happened last night. It's still buggy a bit for me (the start menu) but I've heard that's because AMD driver issue ?

not sure. i have heard about amd driver issue also. however i'm running nvidia gpus.

How do do a clean install from the ISO file? Is this installer the 64bit version?

Sorry bro i try to find the iso version. That link is esd meaning encrypted install.wim, not a proper iso file.

stasio posted a link to 10125. Maybe you can try that. The simplest way is to create a bootable usb with it. You can use rufus to do that.

maybe most of the times the same error message are too generic. my previous attempts to fix bugs were the same.
