bro... ayam heard they say there is new feature on w10 tapi ayam no explore yet, can advice which one ayam should explore ?

this part i will leave it to you to explore them yourself. you can just google for 'new features windows 10' to start with. we all have different ways to do our things in windows. in my case, starting from w7, i seldom use windows features, except for a few (like windows backup, and remote desktop client) because of various reasons. as long as the os can run the underlying hardware and software that i need, i'm good to go.

as an exampe, i use mozilla thunderbird for mail, and firefox for web browsing. the main reason i use these two is because they can have local custom profiles that keep all my files intact and survive between clean installs (i can just load them up with -P option). i can back them up just by zipping the whole folder, or move them to another system and start using them in no time. for mail backups, i can export all mails for archiving purposes via addon.

there must be something that was added or modified. i believe it was fine before this. one way to check is to revert to previous system restore points one at a time.

is this an upgrade or a fresh install?

Thanks bro, I will follow your advise. Do yo know cara lain yang valid to download the ISO file using IDM ? Download manually using MCT so slow lah and dont have resume capability. It was a real pain in the ass for me.

I already upgrade to Windows 10 last night.

for public, the only official channel to grab a copy from ms is via mct. if you have msdn subscription, you can grab one from there too.

unfortunately previous direct links to msdn download (w10 home-pro retail x64, http://download.msdn.microsoft.com/pr/en_w...vd_6846432.iso) have been blocked by ms just recently.

edit: i thought mct can be resumed? usually all downloaded files will be stored locally first, before it is converted to iso. recently there is a release of w10 refresh (15909) in the form of .esd (rtm released on 29 july was 15709). i think with mct you will get that refresh also.

Windows 10 Pro.

wi10 pro refresh esd links are as follows:

x64 - http://b1.download.windowsupdate.com/d/upd...cf86b2d202e.esd
x86 - http://b1.download.windowsupdate.com/d/upd...cd0e4dc2563.esd

stop the mct download first. download the right version (since you didn't tell me it's a 32bit or 64bit). after that, rename it to install.esd and put in the hidden $windows.bt/sources/ or $windows.~ws/sources/ in c:\. then rerun mct. see if it can be used in iso creation.

Noted bro, Ill give it a try ! Me running on 64-bit.

ok. here i am downloading the x64 version of esd at full speed now hehe

edit: well, sorry bro it will not work with mct :/ whenever i closed mct it will clean up first :///

still, just grab the esd first. there is another way to do this, using esd decryptor, https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=76475314

There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x8024402f)

I baru finish clean install and install all file and program for my laptop. I baca dekat MS forum they suggest to reset back the windows.

Damn. Any suggestion ?

Hi guys,

My Windows10 will "sometimes" (which mean, twice daily at least) be frozen.

But, the program are running. For example, when playing games, the screen will be frozen but there is still sound of the game still running and mouse, keyboard, everything else still work.

I assume it`s the graphic card driver, so I did a clean install but problem still persist.

Tried rolling back to Windows 7 but the software say that I don`t have enough storage capacity left..er..so..no choice but to find solution..

Thanks..

You guys are soooooo happy about windows 10.. but do you guys actually find out more about the OS before commenting on it?.

First of all alot of those flexible features have been removed to provide more forceful use of certain functions. It's not that configurable anymore.
It makes your pc into a p2p seeder to see windows installation.
It allows ur fren to connect to your wifi without the need to know the password if he/she is in your social app friends.
It stores your data, probably sends them to cloud.. yes they might not record keystrokes but they store pixel data information on screen which they can go through some character recognition software to read what you typed.

Can't disable auto updates.. it always updates.. but there is workaround for this...
All these crapz made me removed windows 10 in just 4 days playing with it... For now i'll just stick to my trusty windows 7.

which gpu is this?

btw if you're not comfortable with w10, just grab a copy of w7 os installer dvd and do a clean install. you surely will have space for that.

changes regarding so-called features that you mentioned above are slowly under way, because of the pressure of negative comments from public.

also, like you said, there are workarounds. so take it easy. it's just an os. use whatever you want smile.gif

My PC just got struck by lightning last nite..
So now MoBo got damaged, so I wonder if I changed new MoBo (with new PCU & PSU if required) will it affects my installed Win10 version & its license key?
Previously my PC was connected to Internet before lightning strike

wo. yes, it will invalidate the record at ms. try contact ms support for this. some users have reported that ms did help them solve their activation issues (about hardware changes too).

also, check this, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...n-in-windows-10 the last one should be your case.

a clean install of w10 pro should be approximately 12gb (minus swap/pagefile/hiberfil.sys, drivers and windows updates)

I don't know but happened that my bro's asus laptop cannot connect to wifi and prompted "can't connect to this network". Ridiculously, after switching the power saving off, wifi runs fine.
