just installed windows 10. i found an issue tho - folder views are not saved. when i open a window, it will go back to the default view. so annoying.

I ticked defer mode and change setting using below link method
But I choose notify me to install

Better choose notify to update

As usual, not everything may work seamlessly, some personal settings may be lost, some programs may not work properly, all the imminent teething problems may be encountered in due course.
Just tweak and fix them to the best of your knowledge along the way while using it hereon. Yes, its all seem to be time consuming or waste of time re-doing or fixing to the way you like it.
Nothing is perfect..take your time to fix them along the way hereon...good luck!..I may have to go through the same rigmarole..at worst upgrade certain programs or even buy new hardware..I dread that..

I just found out that "Remember each folder's view settings" is missing from the advanced settings at the View tab. Is it just me?

Oso, when I restart the PC, the desktop icon will reset to medium size even tho I have changed to small.

Currently I upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 8...
After installed, i checked via AIDA64, my product key for Windows 10 is different from Windows 8...
So, is it work if later i do format Windows 10 using product key i get from AIDA64?

Means you cannot browse web with browsers + apps that require network connections couldn't connect?

At My Computer, I right click property the system page shows I'm using "Window 8.1 Single Language"

When I use the keyfinder (My window comes with my Dell so I have to find the key, just incase), there show I'm using Win8.1 Pro.

If you have upgraded from Windows 7/8.1, then you can just format without inserting any product key next time, Microsoft remember your hardware ID now instead of using key.
