i have surface pro 3 and desktop pc, i upgraded both mine win 8.1 use the standalone program, its transfer to my usb, and i run from there, my key is auto activate..but

my laptop MSI GS70s, this one i cannot upgrade, whenever i upgrade, installer will asked for a key, or "something happened" error pop up, i believe this is because of MSI till not yet allowed their laptop to be installed with win10, maybe compatibility issue

To help those in need.

This is waaaaaay much better than attempting to delete the contents in softwaredownloads and run the wuauclt command.

Attempt at your own risk but trust me its simple, I'm downloading Win 10 now in my windows update after the reg fix.

Glad to help bro...Easy stuff.

Now I have another question though.

If I plan to reinstall next time with a bootable iso or USB where do I obtain a cd key? ....I have already activated before though.

i think you can install magical jelly bean to extract cd key
