I hope Rodgers doesn't tell the lads they are happy with a DRAW in Basel.

This is definitely a must win game for Liverpool, irregardless of what form we are in. If you go in playing for a draw, there won't be any hunger to take 3 points from this. A win will also lessen the pressure on us when taking on RM.

Rodgers must inject the proper mentality into our boys against Basel!!! Basel is solid team but they are still beatable IF Rodgers gets his tactics right. It's not OK to draw, imho

its not the end of the world if we draw..of course BR will aim for a win..sooner we qualify into 2nd round, easier for him to rotate/rest players..i'm expecting a win but not too disappointed if its a draw..will be disappointed if we lost

Will deeply disappointed if the performance shit like vs WestHam. Will not mad if they play good football but lose by a small margin. Win will be great, draw is acceptable, but next time must win at Anfield.

I sorta agree with you there...the general mentality surrounding us right now is gloom and doom. A win, a healthy one too, away in the CL will help to lift some of that. Even better if it comes with good performances from underfperfoming players like Mario and Marko.

A draw or loss, coupled with bad individual performances will not do morale good.

IMO, This, apart from BR's tactic, this is terribly wrong with Liverpool as of right now. I can't seem to find the urgency to win in most of the player now, compared to last season when Suarez & Gerrard will shout all the time, and the disappointment & tears when they lost.

Important is not to lose and not focus to win big like the game with Chelsea last season or the game with Crystal Palace. Ugly win will do for me, draw would be better than lose of coz..

On Sturridge, interesting that BR comment he will not be fit for England Euro campaign but at the same he's looking for him to play some part in weekend game. Not sure how's that gonna turn out. But I can only commend him for trying to protect his player.
