Last season when Coutinho had the ball, all 3 of Sterling, Suarez and Sturj will be making off the ball runs looking to break in behind. Now we have static Balotelli and Lambert.

I can see Balo adapting to our pressing and is working hard at times but he is too static when we have the ball. He is always standing with his back to goal and when he receives the ball he stops play and slows tempo by holding on trying to turn or eventually passing the ball back to be recycled again.

What Suarez would do is to take the pass in his stride and run at the defence. Even if his back is to goal he would make some clever turn as soon as he receives the ball to either draw a foul or escape his marker.

Markovic is looking like our worst signing of the summer. Yes he is young but judging from what we've seen he is looking really bad. Nothing like the pacey runner with the ball we have seen from highlights. He looks terrified of the ball always looking to pass it away and rarely ever runs with it. When he does his poor touch tends to push the ball too far and loses it.

Suarez was the catalyst. When they had him in the team they would feed him the ball and everyone would start running into space looking to break because they know the brilliance of Suarez would make something happen and the ball will make its way to one of them. Now we have a bunch of ball watchers standing around waiting to receive the ball and this slows down tempo. Even Sterling is occasionally a culprit for overrunning the ball.

Years before im sad when we sold arbeloa. he has some argument with carragher in a few match before he go. I even mentioned here we lost a very good RB but NOBODY HERE give a shit about that (many forummer here happy because we gonna got a overpriced and clueless johson )
