we are under so much money pressure due to the bad ownership we had previously... so... give the current boss/owners some break like i said, dont expect us to be powerhouse both domestic n europe anytime soon... let the club regain its strength. slowly but surely how can we talk about bright future so much last season and suddenly the gloom so early in this season? i agree that i am worried at the moment and hope BR think of something sooner than later, but i'm sure no one wants failure, especially not him and not the owners...

QUOTE(carloz28 @ Sep 29 2014, 12:55 AM) If I'm the owner and you are the manager, I'll fire you on the spot for giving me such a poor sorry excuse on hiring a departmental driftwood. You can't just come up to me and say "Oops I'm sorry I dunno he's crap?" After wasting 10-20mil (using My marney) on transfers? We hired managers to make judgement calls like this and train them up to become an integral part of the team, and not just walk away if things do not work out. Managers should have at least have 50-70% accuracy on their abilities before sealing the deal. One can gamble with small fries & chicken feeds, and fine enough, you can have the leeway of getting one-two occasional duds if you do get most of your signings right. BUT IF your dud list is way longer than your success stories stretching over 3 seasons, you'll surely be subjected to scrutiny. Means you have serious issues judging a player, either that or you have been fed with Scout Nation's Greatest Compilation videos on Youtube. Have you considered applying for a coaching/managing at a club? Sure sounds like you can do a good job. Can start small somewhere. I'm serious.

QUOTE(cherroy @ Sep 29 2014, 10:08 AM) If you don't know the person, you paid fresh graduate price, that's why fresh graduate generally won't able to fetch high wages, as employer don't know the ability of the hired person. But if you paid 20K per month wages, you expect the person readily to slot in, and perform once the work started, not to come to learn and slowly find out what is your company doing, how your company doing business. This season is make or break for BR and also will tell us that whether it is Suarez who make BR looks good or BR indeed is good. why wud u say that? he just signed a new 4years contract earlier this May.

While I agree with a lot of comments saying Suarez made BR look good, I'd point to our first 5 games last season and the results we achieved without Suarez to indicate we don't necessarily need him. What we need right now is a mobile forward, which Balo isn't. Really hope Struj coming back can sort this out. I'm still adamant we would have benefited more getting Remy than Balo.

No need for sarcasm la. You don't need coaching experience to comment in here. We are here to talk n discuss n pinpoint what went wrong in BR's campaign and realistically what needs to be done to move forward. Of course, cheerleading is also allowed in here. Just Keep the Feeeith baby n shout YNWA day in day out right? I'm sure it will make you a great fan! Yiiippieeeee. Oh I'm serious too... This post has been edited by carloz28: Sep 29 2014, 12:10 PM

BUT bro, I think you are a greater fan. I'm nothing compared to you because I only keep the feeeith and cheerleadinggnering my team no matter what happens. With that said, obviously, I have the utmost respect for you hence, I think you should work with/for LFC. PS. there weren't discussion of what went wrong in BR's campaign. I think it's more to how and why he should leave if you are the owner.

Quit your trolling please. What i meant was basel away is a tough game + the current poor morale in the team. It's people like you who expect big wins every time and underestimate opponents. I am quite surprised you haven't started the shouts to bring kenny back.

I think it's more to how and why he should leave if you are the owner. Thing is, one don't need to be a LFC fan to know how things are managed in a football club. Every football club I know in the world is results driven, from Yeovil Town FC to Segambut Utara FC if you may. I do not know you well, or what do you do in your daily life, but the world I know is a results oriented place and all things do not automatically become rainbows in 5 years time. Progress are monitored time to time and when problems arises, root cause have to be pinpointed ASAP to cure the problem. Safe to say, we all know what will happen to BR if he does not meet his targets set by the club to him. What we babbled here will not affect Rodger's position or LFC in whatsoever way, unless this is Spirit of Shankly maybe. This is just another forum for like minded people to discuss and debate, and you are always welcumed to share your thoughts to other fans here if you think BR has been unfairly attacked by ppl around here, or if BR has done a good job so far with the club.

Of course, I agree on the result oriented part. I should explain how I view the team and why I was trolling on your respond. I'm also disappointed with the 7 points in 6 games. Especially the results vs. Aston Villa and West Ham plus struggling to beat Ludogorets and Boro even after we buried Spurs 3-0 in their own backyard But I think there is no need to panic, we brought in more than 9 players? And lost 1 key player. Obviously, they need time to readjust. Our team was built around him and Sturridge last season. I think BR has a plan to pair Balo and Sturridge and it is really unfortunate that the latter is injured and the pressure keeps on piling on BR. But more importantly, I'm not pessimistic. Sounds like we already lost the battle even before it started. And I don't point fingers at what kind of fans other fans are.
