i was praying for both keepers to have their chance. happy to see it biggrin.gif

is there an unspoken mutual agreement that keepers should let each other score? coz i swear i saw both keepers like half hearted against each other? biggrin.gif

Both of them looked half hearted the entire shootout.

Can't wait for the derby game tonight. Will be a nervy 1. Hope the team can calm it down and get a good win.

If I'm the owner and you are the manager, I'll fire you on the spot for giving me such a poor sorry excuse on hiring a departmental driftwood.

You can't just come up to me and say "Oops I'm sorry I dunno he's crap?" After wasting 10-20mil (using My marney) on transfers? We hired managers to make judgement calls like this and train them up to become an integral part of the team, and not just walk away if things do not work out. Managers should have at least have 50-70% accuracy on their abilities before sealing the deal. One can gamble with small fries & chicken feeds, and fine enough, you can have the leeway of getting one-two occasional duds if you do get most of your signings right.

BUT IF your dud list is way longer than your success stories stretching over 3 seasons, you'll surely be subjected to scrutiny. Means you have serious issues judging a player, either that or you have been fed with Scout Nation's Greatest Compilation videos on Youtube.

Have you considered applying for a coaching/managing at a club? Sure sounds like you can do a good job. Can start small somewhere.

I'm serious.

No need for sarcasm la. You don't need coaching experience to comment in here. We are here to talk n discuss n pinpoint what went wrong in BR's campaign and realistically what needs to be done to move forward.

Of course, cheerleading is also allowed in here. Just Keep the Feeeith baby n shout YNWA day in day out right? I'm sure it will make you a great fan!

Yiiippieeeee. Oh I'm serious too...
*
Thanks for your compliment for being a great fan. BUT bro, I think you are a greater fan. I'm nothing compared to you because I only keep the feeeith and cheerleadinggnering my team no matter what happens.

With that said, obviously, I have the utmost respect for you hence, I think you should work with/for LFC.

PS. there weren't discussion of what went wrong in BR's campaign. I think it's more to how and why he should leave if you are the owner.

Basel away next.Looks like another draw or defeat in the books.

Of course, with BR in charge, what do you expect the result to be?

Thing is, one don't need to be a LFC fan to know how things are managed in a football club. Every football club I know in the world is results driven, from Yeovil Town FC to Segambut Utara FC if you may. I do not know you well, or what do you do in your daily life, but the world I know is a results oriented place and all things do not automatically become rainbows in 5 years time. Progress are monitored time to time and when problems arises, root cause have to be pinpointed ASAP to cure the problem. Safe to say, we all know what will happen to BR if he does not meet his targets set by the club to him.

What we babbled here will not affect Rodger's position or LFC in whatsoever way, unless this is Spirit of Shankly maybe. This is just another forum for like minded people to discuss and debate, and you are always welcumed to share your thoughts to other fans here if you think BR has been unfairly attacked by ppl around here, or if BR has done a good job so far with the club.
*
Of course, I agree on the result oriented part. I should explain how I view the team and why I was trolling on your respond. I'm also disappointed with the 7 points in 6 games. Especially the results vs. Aston Villa and West Ham plus struggling to beat Ludogorets and Boro even after we buried Spurs 3-0 in their own backyard

But I think there is no need to panic, we brought in more than 9 players? And lost 1 key player. Obviously, they need time to readjust. Our team was built around him and Sturridge last season.

I think BR has a plan to pair Balo and Sturridge and it is really unfortunate that the latter is injured and the pressure keeps on piling on BR.

Quit your trolling please. What i meant was basel away is a tough game + the current poor morale in the team.
It's people like you who expect big wins every time and underestimate opponents.

I am quite surprised you haven't started the shouts to bring kenny back.
*
Sorry bro. I do not expect us to win big. But more importantly, I'm not pessimistic. Sounds like we already lost the battle even before it started. And I don't point fingers at what kind of fans other fans are.

Anyone already mentioned that Markovic looks like Coutinho with long hair?

I got goosebumps when the substitution happened last Saturday.

Crouch did score a number of goals, may not a world class striker, but did win Liv many games, more like average EPL striker.
The famous scissor kick goal.

Baros' goal win against Chelsea (or some called "ghost" goal"), eventually CL.

Above 2 did have some impact.

yes agreed. but I normally need a few games to see they have it or not.
Lallana will have no problem.

Coutinho- ready to leave soon
Emre Can- also won't make it
Markovic - 50-50
Balotelli - also wont make it despite a fairy tail story lined up!! making big time , second chance bla bla
*
Just because Coutinho did not perform in 7 games, he is ready to leave. Wow.

I'm sure Henderson was ready to leave for you after 7 games when Kenny signed him.

"The reason behind the Reds' advantage? As per Italy's Tuttomercatoweb, Dortmund have turned their attention to PSG's Javier Pastore as a replacement, and the interest is apparently mutual."

Huh? How did this explain our advantage? How is Pastore related to us?

"Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are the quartet of teams all leading the chase for his signature, and recent reports had City ahead of the pack on bringing him to England."

Cannot be more Captain Obvious. The only 4 teams who can afford him or he might be interested to join.

i think what they mean is they looking at Javier Pastore who plays similar position to Reus? Reus not happy so wanna go out? I'd take it at face value la. Most likely we gonna end up with Kaite Balde Diao or Shneiderlin or some other underwhelming name
*
Yes what they mean is they found a replacement for Reus in BVB. But how is that an advantage to us and not MU, City and the rest?

Or he just need players like Neymar. Player who can make runs instead of waiting for the ball to come to their foot.

You mention the game but after saw the highlights it was just ok performance for me. Other than the 2 play that you mention he was just an ordinary player that night.
*
How many assist do you need from a player la bro. 1 assist can change the entire game. Plus, he is a sub, and it is a friendly.

He definitely need someone who can run behind the lines, which we have, but unfortunately is injured. He won't work very well with Balotelli - at least for now.

I only watch the goal highlight, so just saw that 2 moments.

We should swap Suarez with Neymar.  tongue.gif

Interesting suggestion, but doubt they will let Neymar go. Barca and Real are like collecting rare player cards.

Their fringe players can be our marquee sigining.
