Flicked this from FB

SOMEONE ASKED! How do u know LIVERPOOL is the Biggest club in the world?
I said;"AC milan didn't qualify for Europe and no one talks about it. Dortmund lost 6 times this season and is 3 points from bottom, no one talks about it. Monaco has started so badly this year no one noticed. Madrid lost 2 consecutive la liga games it wasn't on the front pages of newspapers. PSG are 8 points behind leaders Marseille. I doubt if many know this but Everton have won just 1 match this season, no one cares (neither do I). Szczesny of Arsenal was shown a Red carded too last week but you wont hear of it. BUT as little as LIVERPOOL players eating in a restaurant gets on every ones lips. Anything we do makes headline and sells papers".This proof LIVERPOOL IS BIGGER THAN ANY TEAM IN THE WORLD!! Agree?

*
whoever wrote this piece is oblivious to the fact that foreign clubs do not get as much attention as Liverpool in England. Just walk into Germany or Italy sometime and you will realize people there don't give a hoot about Liverpool as well. Invalid point. And the article is very disrespectful to other English clubs as well. Arrogance is not what Liverpool fans are known for. Disagreed.

Borini looked very determined and hungry yesterday. He wanted to prove a point and I'm impressed with him too. Worked hard hassling and chasing balls.

He could earn some game time with this kinda of attitude.

I am guessing after so many matches, your expectation lowered quite a lot huh... laugh.gif

perhaps. but the team played well from the start IMHO. they started slacking after they conceded the goal. a bit harsh to concede since everyone, except for the obvious Marko, was having a good game. well at least Mario came and equalized and Lovren able to make amends by bagging the winner in the last minute of the game rclxms.gif

yay for italian mafia...sad lambert didn't get a goal though. poor guy must be feeling so left out...everyone criticises balotelli yet he still made it to the hull game squad ahead of lambert
*
to be honest, he was great during the game. excellent positioning, great ball control and distribution. only lacking from him is speed but thats it.

QUOTE(genjo @ Oct 29 2014, 09:47 AM)
Worth it for me to wake up and watch full match.

First half is decent, then starting of 2nd half the performance is dropped.

I thought we are gone after the goal from swansea. But, a nice comeback !

And the drought ended for Balo.

Hopefully this will boost his performance.

Edit : Borini should be given chance on 1st team.
*
this. he gave it his all in that game. he deserves his chance.

agreed. IMHO he commanded the team better than Hendo, or at least commanded the attacks. lol.

Notice this coincides with Gerrard not playing...there is something about Gerrard's presence that suppresses other leaders out of respect to him.

yup.. we wont be seeing Hendo and Cout shouting in the field if Captain G is around... sometimes need to let the kids out and play by themselves smile.gif

Well I never see Coutinho shouted anyone before but not the same case with Henderson. He was fuming against Gerrard when he should have kept the ball instead of going for glory when we were leading and the match was almost over.

The conclusion is BR should had always play 2 strikers, and not Balotelli as one man up front. And is time for Gerrard to bench and become impact sub.

i think/feel Balotelli should pair with CF that like running here and there to make opponent defense loose marking... so another striker that after Sturridge , mostly is Fabio Borini... does he play style like that? Lambert also target man right?

best target man currently is Edin Dzeko for me, anyone agree?

QUOTE(wadefak @ Oct 28 2014, 11:07 AM)
well i think its time to let Borini have his chance now. he may not be the first choice but at least we know that he is more mobile compared to Balo. also, definitely need 2 hitmen up front. having a solo hitmen gives our opponent's defenders an easy time as they can only focus on 1 main man up front, which means that midfielders are needed to step up to the plate.
*
Quote again for BR analysis that we need to give Borini a chance again... (of course paired it with someone. not alone upfront) tongue.gif

agreed on playing 2 strikers though somehow the formation earlier looked like we're playing a solo striker in Lambert. having Borini to cover was a great tactic played by the boss but i cant quite agree on having Stevie as an impact sub. IMHO he should just sit out from simple games, though it may not seem simple for the squad now, just because he needs the rest to focus more on big games. flex.gif

Cout's thru pass ssliiiggghty faster than it shud. Lamber, Borini and Balo was too slow for that.

Yeah. He was obviously dissapointed last nite when passes to the front wasted. Which is good. Means they have the desire. He played like real brazilian last nite.

And a long shot by Johnson. that was a rocket!

about Glen, it seems that he looks more comfortable on the left side of the pitch compared when he's playing on the right hmm.gif

Borini's cross for Balo was very good. Gerrard would be proud of that. Couth and Borini showed hunger upfront.

Both was the MoTM for me....

he was on his toes! tracked back and even made it in time for a last minute tackle!

but but....both Glen and Lucas are recently rumored to be heading out by January and they gave a hell of a show earlier today. following Suarez' footsteps in stepping up their game for their exit? sweat.gif
