Ddin't catch the match but from what I can see, we are in for a long hard ride in the BPL. Most of the players BR fielded are considered 1st team members yet we struggled.

Also Lambert as captain? Lucas should be captain in my opinion.

Can't brain why BR played Sterling. The boy needs a rest. Couth should play to regain some confidence and match fitness.

Anyway, we won and progressed.

That's the worrying part. Looking at the team sheet, we could have steamrolled Boro, yet it took a record breaking pen to settle it. Totally disappointing no matter what BR says about the team post match.

If we fielded our youngsters, then I'll rejoice but man.... how to face the big boys with this kinda performance? We're in for a rough and tough ride, guys. Don't think we'll get top 4 again unless we really wake up.

Also, I feel our team play is very one dimensional. No plan B. We pride ourselves with pass and press. Go for early kills and it worked wonders last season. Now, teams know how to frustrate us and suffocate us. Up front, we do not have the magic of Suarez anymore but the rest seems to retreat into their shells. :'(

Need players to stand up to the plate and be counted. Otherwise, even Europa League qualification will be and remain a dream.

Our current slump is due to players just not pulling their weight together. They're just not playing as a cohesive unit. Unless we play to our true potential, another tough one against the Toffees and most probably dropping points again.

Front line looked so toothless and movement off the ball is just non existent. I don't know, maybe Balo is just not that type of player that we need. Decent but not suited to our style.

Of all our players, only Moreno and Sterling looks good. The rest.......

Ya, I'm baffled too by the way the players played.

We all knew our backlines are shaky but we're well known for a cohesive, slick and very attacking midfield and frontline. Just don't know why, all of the sudden everyone played like it's the first time they met!

Everyone are like strangers. Can't pass, can't link, can't do shyte!

The only time we stop shipping goals is when the ref blew the final whistle!

If we keep on playing the way we do vs QPR, it's only a matter of time someone gonna whack us with a cricket score.

Defence is clueless. Midfield is static and offence is just for show.

Against QPR, I think no one will complain if we got beat. Luck was on our side and it won't happen week in week out.

BR will need to sort out the defence and Balo ASAP.

Don't think our player are already thinking of Real. We've not hit the ground running since the start. Last season we're known for our blazing start; offence offence and only offence after the kick off. This season? It's like everyone is clueless; Gerrard included.

Balo was again a big let down. Wasting chances with pot shots and his work rate is next to none.

Back four still not playing as a unit and with no offence to bail us out like last season, the weakness is magnified even more. BR really needs a good defensive coach to sort things out.

Looks like the title is heading to Chelsea or Man City already.....

I'm hoping for a draw but praying for a low scoring defeat against Real.... that's the reality on how we have fared so far...

0-0 is better than getting hit by a sucker punch at the final whistle....

Balo's reputation not doing him justice. Could easily been a pen if other players.

Ya... Hull's goalie is on God mode.... just unbeatable! Couth did brilliantly for that shot.

It's payback for our lucky points against QPR....

Balo played so much better with Lambert and Couth came in. Could hv won the match if not for God-mode goalie. The last sec save was just out of this world. Balo was unlucky. Needs to keep on working hard....

Credits to BR, his subs made a huge difference. More urgency and Hull was desperate in their defending. Kudos to their defenders who blocked, tackles and stood firm. Their goalie won them the point today.

Ya, I was sad that Rafa was sacked by those two bozos. He bought lemaons and some decision making that baffled most of us but he did really well when we played in Europe. Not the most exciting team but certainly know how to play to our strength. We were feared in Europe because of Rafa's tactics. But then, these are all gone....

What BR needs to understand is Balo is NOT and NEVER WILL be a player like Suarez. He can't dribble or has tricks like LS but Balo is a strong kinda a strike ala Drogba. Feed the ball to him and play to his strength. Asking him to play like Suarez will make him the best scapegoat if we don't get the results.

Borini looked very determined and hungry yesterday. He wanted to prove a point and I'm impressed with him too. Worked hard hassling and chasing balls.

He could earn some game time with this kinda of attitude.

Borini's cross for Balo was very good. Gerrard would be proud of that. Couth and Borini showed hunger upfront.

Both was the MoTM for me....
