Just got my first RGB ram. HyperX Predator 8GB 3200mhz.

Loaded XMP profile and runs fine on 3200mhz. Can also overclock to 3466mhz. Have not tried further.

Running a single stick. At 3200mhz, AC Odyssey benchmark saw +4 fps against a single stick 2133mhz (38fps vs 42fps).

At 3466mhz, SOTR benchmark saw +5 fps against single 2133mhz (48fps vs 53fps).

My setup: Ryzen 1600x at 3.8ghz, Sapphire nitro+ RX570, Asrock AB350 ITX.

Not bad. Will start to budget for 2nd stick. biggrin.gif

AMD promised that the AM4 socket will be supported until 2020.. rclxm9.gif
Ryzen3 can be plugged on any X370/X470 MB (which required bios updates).

I just bought a 1070 ti mini demo set to pair with my Ryzen 3 1200 that runs at 3.8ghz... but the coil whine is very noticeable compared to my virtually silent 1050 ti 4gb

Pubg jumped from 58fps to 130fps

Pretty happy with it

How to push my 1200 to more than 3.8ghz? My PC freezes on start up with more than 3.8ghz. I am total beginner in these things and don't know what or how to undervolt overvolt etc. Now I'm just changing the frequency in my gigabyte bios to 3.8ghz with stock cooler

Also I'm running different brands of 2400mhz 8GB ram (same voltage and frequency)... Damn idealtech doesn't stock the G.Skill 2400mhz any more and only Lelong sell this model, it is expensive at rm480.. so grabbed a Kingston Hyper X instead

Anyone wants to buy my 1050 ti? 1 year old+, light gaming usage, no mining

Looking at Ryzen 7 3700X. Might have to buy another motherboard for PCIE 4.0 though.

Depends on RAM model.

My ASRock B350 Gaming ITX/AC can do 3333, that also it's a 3000Mhz RAM pushed to 3333.
