QUOTE(guy3288 @ Nov 13 2014, 06:25 PM)
my pocket bocor that day, lost RM1000, accidentally gave extra 1 stack to the bank staff on the  day i belanja them KFC.
Realised it only at 7.30pm when i counted my balance, quickly called him, no answer, SMS no reply......... till late nite received a call saying no no extra on his side.  cry.gif

I was shocked to get that answer despite me already preempted it with a SMS saying i will  review their CCTV monday morning. finally the answer i wanted came on Sunday, saved me the risk of making an enemy in bank....sigh.... if RM100 i would let go la, but RM 1k.

relationship as good as before. my sms at 7.30pm was premeditated, "boleh check CCTV kan?, i jatuh duit kat bank" , where got threatening? only meant to remind him, cctv will show. i guess he was in a difficult situation, took 36 hours to get back with a positive reply. we met next day, pretended like nothing happened. i bought my ASX usual on 10, 11,13, and today 14.

Depends on what is your aim. If it is for higher return, then ASX FP are better than EPF, based on past years.

Attached Image

The gap is getting smaller now, about 0.5% lower for EPF.

But even at 0.5% difference, it can be quite a sum of money when you look at RM 1 million (RM 5,000), RM 10 million (RM 50,000) extra.

Cheerio.

Ya, good point.

There is this rumour going round (heard from my wife's sister) that one will not get any EPF dividend once one has reached 60 years old. Find that very shocking and surprising.

Asked EPF and the reply is one will get dividend as long as one has money in the account.

I think once one has reached 70 years old, one will have to close the EPF account. Pity.

Recently EPF came out to clarify that all monies in EPF earns dividend independent of contributors' age. They have not implemented this age thingy yet.

Thanks.

Extending here means instead of 55, they may change it to 60?

Then I pity those who are 53 or 54 having to wait for another 6-7 yrs! Hope they are considerate enough to use an age range 55-60 during the changeover years to accommodate those about to retire.

Got ikan bilis RM700 yesterday.
