Hi.. I have received a call from CIMB telemarketer last wednesday/thursday told me that They have promotion where I can Increase my loan amount up to 50k but in cash form not just certificate. I asked here to send me the details via email but until I haven't receive any news from her.

Is there anyone here from CIMB can confirm this?

most probably telemarketers promoting you PERSONAL LOAN - not ASB financing

that's crazy shit personal loan and has many hidden traps, esp the early termination plan and has no ASB-RTA insurance

All ASB financing option will have your ASB cert held by the bank as COLLATERAL (you are asked to pre-sign a selling form) so if suddenly you cannot repay the loan, they will sell back your ASB units to recover the loan remainder and give you back the excess amount

Really? so it is a personal loan not an ASB loan? luckily I haven't sign any agreement yet.
