Just back from TMPoint to filled up the form for the Unifi Coverage.
Hope this year my area can upgrade to Unifi.

Current my plan is Streamyx 4mbps RM140 above 10 years.
I asked how much at my area the highest speed are and after checked by them I saw maximum supported speed total 7mbps but the official TM only have 4mbps and 8mbps this 2 plan, so they only can give 4mbps without 8mbps. So meaning I also cannot get the 2x free upgrade to 8mbps and still need to pay the crazy price.

complain je. Me using 8MBps @ RM90. Previously are 4MBps @ RM88.
No UniFi infrastructure here too.

No need complain. New signup can get 8mbps for rm100. Contact yr agent

today i went to tm sales asking auto free upgrade.
totally disappointed.
the answer is UNKNOWN ( ask you wait only ) , cant blame the staffs they follow SOP. every visit TM , surely seeing consumer making all noise , shout and angry....

i did ask below q n a ( by tm staffs )

Q : auto free upgrade when , A : wait aug and see

Q : may i upgrade to 8m or unifi ? A : wait aug and see

Q : why new streamyx deal is cheaper than me , can i get the same rate ? A : NOT , for new user

what i feel...new applicants tm welcome , regarding the Free upgrade or any just WAIT AND SEE.

i expect , if we got the free upgrade , i guess we may Q to 1 - 2 years ???? since TM is slow in action for free stuffs.

during the waiting , r we still paying the same and old rate ? or will TM rebate back the delay ? ( hope MCMC make a law for it )

only hope is MCMC , we cant do anything , they are giant , we are small fish ?

yeah, this really pissed me... how long do we take if we want to terminate? i feel like going to terminate this and just register as new user.
I asked few agent those agent said, only for new... wow new customer is more focus and more benefit, old customer no need do retention. .

Hello, my original cordless dect phone (that came with the router etc) died on me. The battery no longer working. So i bought a new one online, a maxis dect cordless phone. But I can't get it to work. Everytime I try to call my home number, the phone will not ring etc.

I don't think maxis will lock their cordless phone right? Unless their modem such as dongle etc

I think I plug the right cable at the right port. My internet is working fine, just the phone. Can't receive or make a call

There is no lock on Maxis cordless dect phone. Double check whether u put in the correct telephone port, there are 2 ports, try the other one if the one u using not working.

Have you paired the base unit with the receiver? My cordless did not come paired out of the box, have to do it manually.

Also, why not just replace the rechargeable battery on the old phone?

Any current Streamyx user who is in Unifi covered area got offer or email to free upgrade from Streamyx to Unifi?

If the maxis phone came with the instruction manual, the pairing method will be in it. If not, just look for the model number on the base and google.

I am in a Unifi covered area but have not received love letter yet. I think I wasn't chosen

Any idea if TM is still sending out love letter or are they done already?

Not much info on if they have stopped or even started. May have to wait up to 15 Aug.

I think agents are calling Streamyx users offering Unifi packages. But thats the normal packages and nothing to do with free upgrade. Problem is there is no info on what the free upgrade is or when.

There's a post on Unifi thread where someone supposedly got free upgrade to 30M.
