Basically can but many ppls will terminate and install a new one

but if you terminate streamyx, you may need to wait 1 month only can install back

If don't mind change your landline number, best way would be subscribe for the RM89 first, after gotten it only terminate the old number/package.

Just chat with TM live chat, rep said I'm not covered by 8Mbps hmm.gif but covered by UniFi instead. Isn't it using the same line? I'm in building btw, so I'll be using VDSL if I subscribe to UniFi.

Check on your modem, what's the max attainable rate?

I'm not sure whether streamyx and unifi is using same line.

There is no options I can change to the new plan?? I'm OK to bound with contract 2 years, as long as RM88/mth is "everything Ok".
It is quite troublesome terminate streamyx and apply new one.
It cause me temporary no internet access at home. doh.gif

2yrs contract seem hao siao one. me use 4mb rm88 student package as per mentioned 2 yrs contract, been using from 2007 till now 2017 keep paying rm88/month.

next question, can we upgrade to 8mb from 4mb and when can start upgrade? 8mb upload speed is 1mb or 512kbps?

I'm currently using 4MB free tablet RM88 package, contract ended, but TMpoint told me just now i'm not eligible to upgrade to this 8MB RM89 unless i terminate the existing line 1st. Anybody have the same situation ?

If ur current plan subscription fees is higher than the new 1, probably u can't upgrade. U need to terminate and apply new unless u got some superpower with TM staff bruce.gif

Me too, was using 4Mbps @ RM88 since 10 years back until now and waiting for new plan with same price or not more than 10% of current price shakehead.gif

Different staff will tell different answer, some can some cannot, probably u need to visit different time and try to get different staff to serve u. Too bad agent can only handle new application, can't change plan for us cry.gif

If don't have charge me again internal wiring, then I'm OK for it.
If not, then charge double internal wiring plus with existing one. That one contractor earn a lot of profit one. whistling.gif

Standard installation is free, if u terminate ur existing line then can use back without laying new wiring. Maybe u can ask the contractor to use ur existing wiring during installation then only u terminate ur account so u wont have Internet disruption.

If not, you can terminate current one and apply new plan with more more cheaper price within 2 years.
