i think 4mbps not enough to do streaming... im using 8mbps also cant stream iptv, goattv, ect...
im using asus router rt-n14uhp..

but my dad's kampung area on 4mbps, is watchable the MYIPTV. I'm bringing the android box this recent holidays. same package 4mbps, and a hell lot of user some more at that time, but still MYIPTV is watchable and switching between channel is considerably fast (below 10 seconds). his TM modem is from Innactech 7100. I even tried MYIPTV and HypptV, both able to watch at the same time.

on my case watching MYIPTV then with light surfing/facebook + video, the MYIPTV video begin to freeze. my modem is riger (i think a tplink based modem).

yeah, is it due to bandwidth balancing? when myiptv video freeze, i try speed test, about 3mbps++ speed, which means that the apps really dont use the available bandwitdh from my 4mbps line ?

some of the kpg area here got 8Mbps ..while some near the TMPoint, town area 2Mbps max

btw about those "balancing" on TM modems? topkek...some TM technicians (lol) said hypptv destroying routers... watfuck

I went to TM point at utc today and got the free upgrade from 4m to 8m. Before CNY, I called the call center and they refused to upgrade for free.

However, even if I do get the upgrade, I'm still gonna feel shortchanged...RM140 for 8Mbps is still quite high...For 179, Unifi users are getting 50Mbps (after upgrade), which is 3.58 per Mbps, while us Shitmix users, even after free upgrade, are paying 17.50 per Mbps!!! Seriously, what the hell?!

Honestly, I'd rather TM lower the pricing of Streamyx rather than giving "free" upgrades...

This must be following the 2/4/8M = RM120/130/140 pricing. This was the promo end of last year. So you can move from old RM140 4M to new RM140 8M package when technically possible. But not all 4M areas have 8M coverage.
