Yeah. Try check the SNR margin, Line Attenuation and Attainable Rate value.
If those are okay, its mean your internet line is good. So probably other problem.

Line problem obviously. 480Kbps, that is about 1/10 of your internet speed. LOL

any suggestion to fix this?

Already asked TMConnects on twitter to refresh my connection. also no good. disabled ipv6 also no good. having this problem a few hours just after paid my bill

Need to open a report, call 100. Tell them you already done speed test and restarting the modem but the problem still persist(berulang).

Im not knowledgeable in this stuff. But in my humble opinion this might me caused by cabling problem at outside of your house.

in fact, i am on call with 100 right now. but also not good, technician will only able to solve on the next working day which is on Tuesday? fucking hell

hi guys, wanna ask if anyone encountered this weird issue before. I have a streamyx 4mb setup with TPlink 8970, it shows connected and i can even see the streamyx IP but cant load any website (both LAN and wifi also same). When technician came over and try it with his own modem router, internet works perfectly on LAN and wifi.

I have done factory reset and applied latest firmware but still the same, streamyx password is also correct. Some how cant seem to determine if this is a modem router hw or sw issue. If anyone encountered this before do share the solution. Thanks ya!

Try to look for mikrotik router. Vy stable.

Does mikrotik router support ADSL ? and does it improve SNR and Attenuation ?

mikrotik only selling router and manage switch. i think you are looking for ADSL modem, which mikrotik does not sell. to improve the the SNR and Attenuation, it more on the wiring and distance from the exchange. this you can't do much, except TM use new technology to improve the signal noise.

It looks like out of luck , I tested with 2 different modem , Tmnet original P600 and Aztech both giving different SNR.I though a better hardware modem gives better results on SNR.

Hopefully to get a good and stable ADSL modem to reduce DC or not able to connect to internet after idle in a period of time.

It doesnt affect much if you use better component/modem. But if TM changes their copper cable and the dslam box, for sure you will see the difference.

How to change ? asked them to change the copper cable and the dslam box ? will they do it for free ?

You think they will do that? This will cost them a few hundred thousands or even more to do it.

That is why I quota a shakehead emotion.The only option is to try using different best build in modem for a stable connection.
Hard to find a good modem only for stable SNR ? It's very strange , sometimes on morning DC and getting different SNR compare to night.
The SNR is different by 1-4 switching modem.

How to fix slow upload speed ? Take times to send messages!!!
