I found my TMnet line attenuation is high 200+ db... frequent disconnect. Can advise how to improve this?

password = Adm@XXXX (XXXX=last 4 number is last 4 alphabet of the MAC address)

Guys, just a question, if I am to use a third party router + modem such as Asus/Tp-Link/DLink, would the issue of slow Youtube be alleviated? Thanks

My parents are in Penang, they too are unaffected actually. But they've long been a Streamyx user and have replaced the modem+router with a third party one (since the original stopped working).

I live in Kedah around Kulim area. Maybe location is the reason? Who knows. Also, when searched in google, I do found that people across the globe is facing the issue, not just MY, but most of it are old threads going back to mid 2000 and such.

Anyone having a poor internet connection?? Using speedtest, only got 0.11-0.16 mbps download speed.

hi guys, wanna ask if anyone encountered this weird issue before. I have a streamyx 4mb setup with TPlink 8970, it shows connected and i can even see the streamyx IP but cant load any website (both LAN and wifi also same). When technician came over and try it with his own modem router, internet works perfectly on LAN and wifi.

I have done factory reset and applied latest firmware but still the same, streamyx password is also correct. Some how cant seem to determine if this is a modem router hw or sw issue. If anyone encountered this before do share the solution. Thanks ya!

already upgrade last week...the account have been chg to 4mbps but the port and the speed havent changed until now

i'm so fed up with those CB useless TM officers..
i've been throwing shitload of F-Bombs to them but none of them can come up with solution.
my story is:
26/10 - 2mbps installation(relocate A/C) done in new house c/w upgrade to 4mbps
27/10 - need wait max 48 hours for upgrade to take effect as told by CB.. i mean CS
5-6 days passed, no upgrade
31/10 - after bombard them, my TM A/C renewed to 4mbps, but router DL cap + speedtest still remains the same 2Mbps (after restart modem + reset port via 100)
01/11 - all the CB officers are out of solutions, and they lodged report -- somemore saying ONE TIME CHARGES will be imposed to fix it?? Mudafuka, they're unable to upgrade my package and now they're forcing customer to pay extra to fix their shit??

All Unifi users regardless of old or new package get double speed upgrade w.e.f 01/01/17,
any news on shitmix users? Will it be 4mbps >> 8mbps or we're still gettin shits?
