White will turn lilttle yellow which i can it off white. Wood material will not affect the colour to turn yellow but the paint itself.
*
How about use high gloss white print like car, maybe not turn yellow easy

white nyatoh definitely turn yellowish after some time, since its what I'm planning to use.
That is what the salesman told me,  but still going for it, thinking might touch up back after sometime.

I supply lots of nyatoh wood trimmings to furniture makers and most of them will spray paint to it, some using PU paint which is more harden. To my knowledge, all depends on paint quality and most of the time, i wont turn yellow immediately. It takes sometimes and by then i think you would be moving to a bigger villa ...

if you want to spray paint high gloss, why use nyatoh? that is such a waste imho
should just use MDF
if you want glossy doors, can also consider acrylic on MDF. I dont think it will turn yellow and also the finish doesnt depend on "good workmanship" like spray paint.

I guess he is using the kitchen door with wood trims, as such it is usually made in nyatoh timber. MDF board is good for spray painting as it is very smooth. MDF should not be in contact with water else ...

MDF...quite weak to water if use for wet kitchen.....so take nyatoh
I like white colour so choose high gloss spray print and for acrylic if get scratch will easy mention and not nice.
If spray print with more layer like car paint, when scratch can do polish and it will look gloss and new de.

Hi,

Photos are impressive. Would appreciate if you can share the details below:

1. Is your glass splashback colored or non-colored?
2. How much did you pay for your glass splashback?
3. Contact details for purchasing glass splashback.

Thanks,

if you want colored glass splashback, the best is still Glasskote - http://www.glasskote.com.my/frame.htm
the color is infused into the glass. some use a piece of color something and sandwich in between two pieces of glass. I think those will fade. Glasskote is from Australia. Mine was black in color. No fades after using for 7 years.
7 yrs ago it was Rm55 per sq ft (tempered). Dunno about now. Their super white color glass is more expensive but not green like their normal white

Hey,

Thanks so much for the detailed info shared. I am actually looking at light green - similar to the one in the attached photo here. smile.gif
Did you contact Glasskote directly or you got installed through contractors who made your kitchen cabinet? If you have any specific person that you spoke to from Glasskote / KC maker, appreciate if you could share details.

Cheers,
Sham

i cant remember the manager's name that i spoke to at glasskote. young guy.
what color are your cabinets?
btw what attached pictures are you talking about? i dont see anyone using glass backsplash here tongue.gif

Right. I have not really finalized the color of my cabinets but I prefer to choose some earthy / neutral colors. I was thinking the same - contact them directly and then also cross check with the KC maker. I am in the midst of discussing with a few KC makers and yet to finalize one. Meeting a few of them tomorrow - Thanks a lot for your timely responses. Good to have these inputs and I can include them during my discussion with them tomorrow.

I was going to show the sample color (light green) in the photo that I have attempted to attach several times but for some reason it is not allowing me to do so. sad.gif... However, I found this image in this link that could describe the color am talking about: http://www.alanjohnson.talktalk.net/ajfurn...tempkitchen.jpg

you could ask for one of these samples when you go over to glasskote - http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Qj7CXjsbWB4/TLg4...00/DSCF3709.JPG

I think I know that green that you wanted. It is a very popular color.
