Hey, thanks so much for posting the pics. Yeah, I think your second photo describes the color I had in my mind better! smile.gif

2nd pic which is my dry kitchen is same color but with extra white dust design. Need to see from close. Photos don't do justice. No regrets.

Hi.
Anybody has experience with sliderdrobe or lavender kitchen's kitchen cabinet?
*
I used sliderdrobe. Quality and furnishing is good but I could only afford their promotion package. So limited colors and material. The one who came to do the measurement was a young malay lady (macam fresh from school). Measured twice coz the first time she measured wrongly. But the overall furnishing is good.

all, would like to hear some comment on the layout. Which is more feasible, A or B?

I am doing 5 ft extension on my kitchen.
I want A (got space for dishes beside sink, got place for kicap bottles) but was told cooking may be restricted.

I prefer A too..looks more practical for cooking.. Btw, what application did u use to draw out the kitchen layout? I'm looking to draw out some designs for my house interior too. Cant afford an ID to draw for me.

Hi all,

Has anyone used Interior Experts.com for making their KC, Wardrobe, etc? Can't find much reviews on them here. Appreciate inputs from anyone who has experience assigning them for reno works.

Great! What was the price quoted? Was it installed directly by Glasskote or by your KC maker?

Hi, i have an extension of my kitchen, but because of my kitchen is small, i do not know where to put the sink and fridge. The only thing fix is the hood and exit door location due to feng sui tongue.gif Window can put anyway to make the room looks wide.

So, i hope there is a window at my back when i face the hood, but this will block the continuous of the wall hung cabinet. rclxub.gif

Installed by glasskote, but arranged by my kc vendor. I am sure I paid a higher price but I wanted the convenience. I am unsure the price, need check back. Will do when back from outstation.

All I know is don’t go to SK. I went to SK for my dry kitchen due to the “said” reputation. After I had done tones of research, and based on the professionalism (first image) of the friendly designer when we first met and the materials in the SK show room we decided to go for the SK. After I paid for my kitchen and sign the contract. My worse nightmare ever begin!

Everything is different the minute we paid. The sale person/designer starts to sound as if we were very annoying when we have enquiries. After the 1st installation, the whole cabinet slanted (SENGET) to left!! Moreover, the inner wall of the whole cabinet full with unnecessary holes here and there due to the drilling not to mention all those countless defects and scratches. So they come again and remove those ugly parts. After 2nd installation finished, only they realize the aluminum which is the main carcass is few cm shorter! OMG! They only realize this after installation??? They should check before they come or at least before install! So later, they uninstall all parts and plan to reinstall the whole thing again. 3rd installation, they install halfway and then suddenly realize that another part of the aluminium got problem and can only come and install next time. (by this time is already about 6 months since I sign contract with them and I have yet to move in to my new house because of this). So, I get angry very disappointed and tire after the 3rd installation n call to the customer service of SK, the operator pass me to more than 4 extensions but no one pick up the phone (at about 4 pm). So I ask for handphone numbers for managers or who ever I can talk to. I myself have call 5 handphone numbers, not even a single one pick up the phone. In total I have dial more than 10 numbers, both landline and handphones but not a single person pick up. The most ridiculous part is not in the picture yet. Until, finally the operator pass me to the customer care line and talk to this Anita who is loud, rude and sounds like an insane, she said: “ who who who ? Who you want to complaint? Tell me la tell me la! A, B, C, D or E? ” straight after I told her politely that my kitchen is not yet completed after 6 months . Anyway I answer : “xxx branch”. Then she increase her voice: “ Sales person sales person la!? You did not say who is the sales person who knows!!” so I increase my voice also as I am annoyed and said : “ why you talk like this how am I suppose to know u want the name of the sales person or the branch?” then she almost scream: “ since you talk like this, ok bye!!” then she hangs up the phone very hard! WTH!!! I really feel like crying. This is so ridiculous!! So, later operator manage to pass me to Ms Leow who is the head of customer service ( the head of Anita) who I thought finally I can reach someone who can assist me, mana tau she sounds as if I own her money. Anyway I told her my problem (as she is the only one I am able to reach), then I stop when I realize she was talking to someone else while I was talking to her, she just emit the sound: “ hm, hm uhuh..” pretending she is listening to me, I finish my complaint yet she did not know and still : “hm, hm, hm.” Until I told her loudly that I am finished, then she said : “O.. I need to investigate.” without even listening to what actually happened! Ms Leow did not apologize on behalf of SK. She said she will call me back but she did not.

I am feeling helpless as a customer and this is the first time FOMCA (Federation of Malaysia consumer Associations) comes into my mind. I cant believe this is SK, which is wrapped up by the advertisement so professionally and nicely! very organized, very quality, superb QC and customer service! U think so?! I strongly believe most of those good reviews that I have read in lowyat or other website about SK are made up by themselve. My friend have warn me once about their bad customer service after payment but I thought is just her bad luck to went to the wrong branch (c’mon who will believe this?!! Is SK! is realiable!!). But now I am totally, completely regret for not listening to her!! I had my other cabinets and wabrobes done by others but their workmanship and customer service is way much better than SK! SK is costing me too much not only money but hassles and time. This is so disappointing! I pay them and I have to do their job, I have to stay in the kitchen to keep an eye the whole day during their installation if not there sure be major reinstallation (eg the 1st installation) and imagine, they had come for at least 5-6 times for the installation and uninstallation excluding sending in materials for installation. Luckily I got help from my relatives to keep an eye on that, but who is going to be so free and taking day off each and everytime? In addition, I have to spend hour to take those pictures of defects every time after installation and send them and point out bit by bit, they are like babies. Everytime got problems they will push the problem to other parties. And yet until today the installation is not yet done after 6 months. My fren advice me to send them lawyer letter .

Hi,

Thanks. I actually contacted Glasskote while waiting to hear from you. Spoke to the sales person and was quoted for Rm 60/psf for solid color. the minimum cut will be 20ff - i.e. so even if I have the need for only 10ft, they will still charge me RM 60 x 20 ft = RM 1200. Will wait to hear the price you got once you are back from out station. Cheers!

You'd get more space with A. Better to maximise the space so you'll be more efficient in the kitchen.

Sink in that middle counter space between your hob and the window. Fridge can be located beside the door. Unless, you can have the fridge against the toilet wall. But then it'll be too far from your cooking and prep space.
