White will turn lilttle yellow which i can it off white. Wood material will not affect the colour to turn yellow but the paint itself.

white nyatoh definitely turn yellowish after some time, since its what I'm planning to use.
That is what the salesman told me,  but still going for it, thinking might touch up back after sometime.

if you want to spray paint high gloss, why use nyatoh? that is such a waste imho
should just use MDF
if you want glossy doors, can also consider acrylic on MDF. I dont think it will turn yellow and also the finish doesnt depend on "good workmanship" like spray paint.

if you want colored glass splashback, the best is still Glasskote - http://www.glasskote.com.my/frame.htm
the color is infused into the glass. some use a piece of color something and sandwich in between two pieces of glass. I think those will fade. Glasskote is from Australia. Mine was black in color. No fades after using for 7 years.
7 yrs ago it was Rm55 per sq ft (tempered). Dunno about now. Their super white color glass is more expensive but not green like their normal white

verra kitchen, i was comparing tons of kitchen cabinet company before i decided to let verra do it, everything you see is ceramic, there is one other lyn people here also do the same style with mine, forgot who liao.
