But you need to invest in the Nike+ trasmitter for your iPod which costs RM139 if not mistaken. So total investment is like close to RM200.

Kepong metropolitan park meh? ive never run there la, but i'll try to la, as soon as i get the ipod plus thingy..still need switch easy from taiko finix..hohohoho

i dont need you to run, you just need to drive your bike around the park and calibrate the actual distance. Haha.

Hey, yesterday seems like d luckiest day of my life...

when i finish d big walk, i was told that i got no. 51....gosh! juz 1 place away frm d medal......initially i got totally dissapointed, but i told my dad that mayb some front runners might get disqualified.....so i made him wait wit me till 11am.....n finally when d result was out i really make it to d top 50 ..... hahaha....luckily i waited for it....or else sweat.gif

i think 1km before d finishing line, i was competiting wit another girl.....she overtook me n i try to overtook her back.....but still she reach 3 sec b4 me....n she got d 50th place card.....then i feel like knocking my head on d nearest tree trunk... laugh.gif

now onli i realize that top 50 medal is way nicer than finisher medals..it is gold in color n its heavy

a merit medal is always more meaningful and valuable since only those top runner is awarded with such award. whereas finisher medal any ah beng runner also can get as long as he/she finish the race.

i think this is the first Merit medal ever won among the LYN runner rclxms.gif

haha....really? but becoz i'm a female.....v hope any of u guys will soon get d top medals....n it really shows that ur competitive...

as for d bigwalk 20km....there r even less than 40 females...but i took d 10k one..

yesterday event was more like a charity 1....coz mostly r students.....my brother sch went wit a continent of 8 buses....

how is the goodies bag? i believe there will be tons of freebies as Malay Mail has dozen of sponsor for their event.

last time i did not collect the goodies as the q is as long as 600m~800m......

maybe i need to wait for another 20yrs to earn the Merit Medal when im competing in the veteran group. provided i still running by then.

yeah...d q is damn long.....but my mum is d one collecting it for us, coz she's not taking part in d walk.....d goodie bag r mostly drinks.....n d most worth is d 1 litre of apple juice pack....others r isotonic can drink n small packet drinks..
